I am now 18... well, I have been since Friday...
Hey, everyone! It was my Birthday on Friday, and I had an update all written out on that day, but I was shooed off to bed before I could post it. *Sighs* I can't post it now, since it was written for my Birthday, so I guess I'll have to come up with something different. And you're probably wondering why I didn't post earlier, eh? Well, CK has been very busy with his mod thing, and since he's the one that does most of the work, it takes him hours and hours to get things fixed/changed. I don't know what he does, exactly; but I do know that it involves a lot of coding! You should see it all! Man, I don't know how he doesn't get a headache working through all that. lol.
Okay, enough about that. Where was I? Oh! My Birthday! I got more "How to Draw Manga". Actually, that came to me a week before my Birthday, and I kinda forgot they were to be given to me on the 16th. My mum didn't notice how I was looking through the books (two of which came with CDs with lots of different tones! But I'll get to that in a moment) and reading them, but she did notice on my Birthday, and she was worried that I wouldn't feel as though it was a special day since I got my presents early, but I said that it was okay and that I know that the "How to Draw Manga" books were my Birthday gifts. *Smiles* Oh, and I got a movie from CK on my Birthday. "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". I kept falling asleep before I could watch it, but I'll try to watch it tomorrow. It looks like a good movie!^_^
Back to the "How to Draw Manga"! I mentioned about the CDs, but I didn't say what kind of tones that were in them. *Smiles* There are a lot of "dot" tones, and there are clouds, flower pattens, lightning strikes (whatever they are called), and some others that I can't remember. I'm still confused as to what to do with some of these patterns; like the flower pattern. What would a flower background express on a manga?^-^'
Anyway, the other manga book was "How to Enhance a Character's Sense of Presence". One I'm grateful for! I really need to learn these things, because I want my drawings to be more... well, lively... so to speak. *Shrugs* I'm not good with words, so that's the only word I have to describe it.^-^'
Well, I better get going now, but before I do, I'll leave you with a question!^_^
Question: If you had the power to change the things that happened in your favourite anime, what would they be and why?
Oh, I almost forgot! I got a Birthday card! Well, I got more from my family, but I'll post them a little later...
