Free, but where to go now?
I was deleting some previous posts I had on here, it's so weird how far I've come and how much I've grown. It's amusing to see how immature and exuberant I was, how naive, and how angry I was. Feel free to make teenage angst jokes here. Remember all the rants I did? XD I'm pretty sure that I started that trend. But now, I just don't feel all that pent-up rage and "screw the world" sentiment. It's just all trivial to me now. Heh... I guess they call it growing up. I still don't feel grown-up, we're always growing. Now when I look at the world around me... I just shrug and laugh. Still wish we had some sort of bomb to destroy the population of parasites on this planet. But that's besides the point. I think its funny how the internet has created a utopia, a communitiy of idealism, and yet a modern war machine of skewed information and elitists that try to one-up each other and prove that their point is right. A wonderful world right? I'm a silent observer, not too bright but not average, just a simple person that wants simplicity in a complicated place. I feel too old for this shit and too young to be able to live through it. If I digress from a topic, don't worry, I'm just desultorily organizing my thoughts on here. Go ahead and ignore that.

Hm.. a weird fact... In 10 minutes, a hurricane releases more energy than all the world's nuclear weapons combined. Just found that online and found it to be intriguing. Of course you never know anymore what's truth and what's fabricated fact on the internet, anyone can take a number and put it out of proportion against an idea and make it a statistic. Everyone's trying to be too smart for their own good. Even a cynical bitch like me becomes a bit surpised by little things in this world.

You know what's hilarious? Astrology. I was never the one to believe in mysticism or any type of religion... faith just doesn't appeal to me.. but that description, holy crap, its scary XD I was born Jan 20. That describes me so well, and I suck at describing myself XD I'd like to see what your astrology sign is and how close of a comparison do you think it is to you? Exactly describes you, or not accurate at all? I don't care if you think it's a crock of shit, do it to humor me, I'm bored XP

In any other news that makes relative sense to anyone, I'm trying to write songs and stories, something that hasn't happened since 7th grade. Phenomenal really, I'll post them up when I have the time. They're not my best, and I want the criticism so please don't hold back.

Been listening to a lot of black metal and drone stuff. Am just learning about what trip-hop is and found out that Muse isn't all that bad of a band. I always steered clear from them because I thought they played Coldplay and Radiohead stuff, apparently alternative music bores me. Then I listened to Stockholm Syndrome (was originally looking for the Blink-182 version). They're not boring at all, and they actually write quite clever and intelligent lyrics. He has an interesting vocal style. I heard he can sing extremely high falsettos. I'm female, which means we're naturally higher in pitch than males, but jesus on a pancake, I can't sing that high XD
I should learn not to be so close-minded lol.

Right now, I'm listening to Earth. Whenever I need to relax, I listen to these guys. No words, just the drone of the sluggish guitar strings (hence the genre name “Drone”) that resembles a western style of music.

Isn't it amazing that all music is, is soundwaves which is just displacement of molecules in the air (which physics consider it a fluid), which is the vibration that gives us the joy to express our deepest feelings no type of linguistics in the world can translate?

Anyone have a group they highly recommend? I’m always looking for something new to listen to.

"Music hath charms to soothe a savage breast, to soften rocks, or bend a knotted oak."
William Congreve
