Alright, this day's recipe is lactose-free as well as gluten-free, so people who have lactose intolerance or celiac disease can make this too!

Americans have to convert the recipe, since it's in Finnish standards. Sorry!

Apple-rice porridge (apple-rice pudding)

-2-3 apples
-1 liter of water
-1 ½ dl (deciliters) of porridge rice
-4 tablespoons of sugar
-(2 cinnamon sticks, optional)

1. Core, peel and chop the apples.

2. Add the rice, apples and cinnamon sticks in the boiling water.

3. Boil the porridge on mild heat about half an hour and remember to stir it every once in a while. Remove the cinnamon sticks.

4. Add the sugar. Serve the porridge as a dessert (though I see nothing wrong with serving it as breakfast etc.).
