Today's recipe is provided by mamamialoo!

Hungry Man's Macaroni

For 4

-1 pound ground beef, fresh or frozen
-2 teaspoons olive oil
-1 large onion (for about 1 cup chopped)
-1 medium-size green bell pepper (for about 1 cup chopped)
-2 cloves fresh garlic, minced, or 2 teaspoons bottled minced garlic
-1 can (14 ounces) fat-free chicken broth, or 2 cups homemade chicken stock
-2 cups bottled spaghetti sauce
-8 ounces short pasts, such as elbow macaroni
-1/4 cup shredded or grated Parmesan cheese, or more if you want to.

Now, here is how you make it:

1. If the beef is frozen, run it under hot water so you can remove the packaging. Place the beef on a microwave-safe plate and microwave, uncovered on high power for 3 min. to partially defrost.

2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in an extra-deep 12-inch skiller over medium heat. Peel and coarsely chop the onion, adding it to the skillet as you chop. (Be careful, make sure you have an adult help you) Add the beef (fresh or partialy defrosted) and cook, turning and breaking up the meat, until it begins to crumble and brown, 5-6 minutes. Drain any fat from the beef, if necessary.

3. Stem, seed and coarsely chop the bell pepper, adding it to the skillet as you chop. Add the garlic to the skillet.

4. Add the broth, spaghetti sauce and pasta. Stir until well mixed. Cover the skillet and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook at a moderate boil, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is just tender, about 10 minutes. (Cook 2 minutes more for softer pasta) Serve at once, with how much parmesan cheese you want!

This will serve about 4 people and from start to finish it takes UNDER 25 MINUTES!!

There was a question about banana ice-cream. I'm not sure if they have it in the US, but in Finland they have it. Or rather, fruit-flavored ice-creams.
