Looking through the window,
You're not there
You said you would come,
Come back to me
After this battle
But as I gaze through the snow,
You are not there
Are you coming?
The end is near
Will you keep your promise?
Or leave me waiting here forever?
This battle,
Its over
Its been forever since I saw you
I've been reading all your letters
Waiting...
Waiting for your return
Today in the mail I recived a letter
There was no return address,
I opened it hoping it was from you
As I read my eyes grew wide,
For it said you had passed away,
I couldn't belive it
It couldn't be true
You are my life,
I lived for you
So now I shall wait for your return
As long as it takes, no matter how long
It has now been over one hundred years
Still you don't return
But I am loyal to your words,
Your promise
Waiting at this frost covered window
Forever loyal,
Forever waiting

This was my first actuall good poem that me wrote when me was really depressed...me seem to write the best poems when me feel like that....
