Thursday
Hello ^^ I hope people have been having a good week. I did some christmas shopping yesterday, then had work today. Twas busy, which was good. I left to go home early as it quietened down about 3pm and I wasn't really needed. My boss gave me a flapjack from the bakers too! Twas covered in chocolate and very tasty *smiles*

I have submitted an e-card ^^ see below.



I'm still not ready for christmas... I need to wrap presents, post presents, then buy MORE presents for those I have forgotten... Well, not forgotten, it is just that some people are awkward to buy for XD

Brrr, apparently it is going to be -4 degrees C tonight *shivers* I'll need my hot-water-bottle!

   Floating along
Today I have mostly done... Not a lot. Mainly because I had the day off work, and was therefore up until a silly time last night, for no reason at all. Actually, I spent some time on the chat, twas fun ^^ even though my intenet keeps disconnecting... I updated my world too, I never know whether to post the same thing here...

Then I spent some time with Melly watching Smack The Pony XD it is an old TV comedy, basically it is a bundle of random skits, i'll add a vid of one of them at the end of the post ^^ I also broke into my stash of noodles from the Chinese Supermarket, they are sooo tasty, I made stir-fry-noodle-soup, yum num num.

I have added a new wallpaper ^^ it is another winter themed one, but I tried to give it a warm cosy theme.



I got a present in the post today too ^^ even though I won't be home for Christmas my family have sent me some little things so I have something to open ^^ I need to start Christmas shopping, like, NOW... I should have started today (drat my lazyness!)

Sometimes I do feel like I am wasting my time... Being unproductive... *slumps* I guess I am still in the post-university-puddle, I am not used to not having a looming deadline or study to do, so I feel a bit out of it. But I have been like this since I finished - 6 months ago >_< i'm not miserable, just, well, floating along...

Of food and babble...
I need to update here more... Ehehe. I got distracted watching anime last night XD I watched the first episode of Tsubassa, and the first and seccond episodes of NANA. Tsubassa confused me, Sakura + co are there - and then there is a girl who looks like Chii from Chobits... I understand that they are all CLAMP characters, but still :S

I enjoyed it anyways, I really liked the music ^^ so I went and searched about on the interwebs for it afterwards hehe. NANA was interesting, I like the artwork, and i've been curious as to what the story is about for a while. If my internet holds out then i'll have a watch tomorrow. It gives me something to do anyway - poor Melissa and Craig are doing their univeristy work, so I am trying to keep out of their hair.

We cooked fish-cakes again today ^^ I am thinking of setting up a cookery world to post some recipes that I have tried, seeing as I babble about them constantly and no doubt bore you all to tears XD haha. Uhm, also, I submitted a new wallpaper *smiles*

Work was so quiet today, we barely had any customers. I scrounged a mince-pie too... We are allowed to eat food in the cafe, but we aren't supposed to eat the cakes and pies. But seeing as the pies had been open a few days I thought that one of them wouldn't be missed... Can't have them being wasted now XD Vicky said it was ok *hugs to Vicky* hee hee. I love working with Vicky, she is lovely. I get tomorrow off, so I am going to Liverpool with Craig ^^ I think a trip to the Chinese Supermarket is in order *nods*

I hope everyone is well. Have any of you had snow? We were promised snow, but never got any *pouts* it just rained. Brrr... Oh well, frost is pretty too. I hope I can take some frosty photos one of these days... ^^ Well, taketh care my dears, have happy restful weekends!

AARRRGH!
Stupid internet *hits it* it was fine, and now it won't load theO for me. I was trying to leave Meagan a comment (and a hug because i don't want her to feel down...) and the stupid stupid internet just wouldn't load the comment box *fumes and stomps around*

Bah. At least myO seems to be ok for the time being. If you read this Meg, I commented on your myO.

Thankies to everyone who left me comments on my wallpaper *smiles* reading them made me happy. I will try to get around to commenting when my internet quits being such an arse to me. I have a few more wallpapers to submit, although I am unsure as to when they will appear due to the internet glitch. I don't know why it happens, even if the internet DOES work, sometimes I just can't load theO. I just get an 'internet explorer cannot load this webpage' message.

Rant over ^^ I have had a good weekend, some friends who were on my university course came to visit, so we had a good catch-up and went out for a pizza. Then I went to church today with Craig, it was fun as there was double the ammount of people because another church congregation was joining us for the day. As it was so busy I ended up sitting on a chair at the back - right behind one of the pillars XD couldn't see a dang thing haha.

Uhm, what else... I have a new hat! It is one of those silly ones with ear-flaps and pom-poms ^^ it was SO cold on saturday that I had to get it, plus it is pretty and has purple-blue-stripes *smiles*

internet crash...
Today my laptop has been mostly doing this...



:S Bah! But despite the antics of my wireless and such, I managed to apply for some voluntary work. It is a bit lazy of me, because it is online mentoring... I'm not sure if i'll be any good, but I asked for more info and they should get back to me within the next 10 days, so heres hoping it all runs smoothly. I'm looking forward to going into work on friday, this week has been a little dull... Which is odd because i've been free to do whatever I want... But I haven't done much at all... Silly me *sighs*

I saw that for a time today my wallpaper was featured on theO ^^ so thanks a bundle to all of you who looked at it and commented etc ^^ I think it got beaten by a Bleach wallpaper... Eh, never mind, mine was pretty *laughs*

I have updated my avatar world, it now looks all pretty and I shall be posting some new avi's soon ^^ I also guest-posted some avi's in Sakura Kokoro's world. I think I could do with improving mine a little, sometimes they don't look too good :S silly JPEG files...

*wipes dust and cobwebs away*
Gosh I haven't been here in too long! Well, ok, so 10 days may not be THAT long... But I used to come here every day! Dearie me... Well, I can blame the internet connection - the previous one didn't work. But now we have a nice shiney wireless one! Yay! I haven't had wireless interwebs for months... *smiles*

So now when I am not working - or making cakes - I can pop by to say hello to people again! And i'll try to write some half-decent comments ^^

I have been at work all day today, making soup, doing food prep, serving customers, washing, tidying... But tis fun ^^ I even got to ice a cake (yum yum!) although employees aren't allowed to eat the cakes... We do get to eat the soups/sandwiches/crumpets if there are enough for customers and we aren't too crowded. In fact the other day I took some old bread that was going to be binned (even though there was nothing wrong with it apart from being a little squashed) and fed the ducks on the canal ^^

I'm losing track of who is still on here or theO, so many people seem to be busy or away for their own reasons... I hope everyone is ok! I'll leave you with my new fave video ^^

Shtuff
Nowt muchie to say today. Been at work in the cafe from 10.30 until 4pm, it was very quiet. Sorted veggies for tomorrow, did washing up, served up soup... Not busy at all. Then I walked home in the rain *points at rain* lovely. Wet feet aren't much fun.



I made an e-card (see above picture), thankies for the comments ^^ I just uploaded another wallpaper - tis pink again haha. I should have checked what colour the previous one was... Ah well. If I can upload a string of blue ones, then a few pink ones can't be bad XD

Other than that I have been watching Ocha Ken (anime about tea-dogs) which is rather cute ^^ I hope everyone is well. Sunday seems to be a quiet day...

Graduation!
The exciting thing I mentioned before was my graduation! I officially have my degree ^^ Yay! I had the ceremony today in the Cathedral, we all had to dress in the academic robes - with the little square hat and everything XD

My mum and my sister came to visit me, and Craig came back from his visit to London too. It was nice to see him - especially as he brought the magical white-chocolate-cheesecake from the deli! Hee hee.

The graduation ceremony was nice, although my hat was a little too big for me. My head must be small as that was the smallest size hat they do! Bah... It didn't fall off though XD and I have some photos of me wearing all the graduation gear so perhaps i'll post one here sometime... Well, my sister has them at the moment - but i'm sure she can email me some when she gets home.

Haha, actually, I have a daft one where I was wearing the graduation robes AND some novelty elf ears that my housemate used for her halloween outfit XD hee hee... If it doesn't look to bad I may let you see... I didn't wear them during the ceremony though! I'd probobly have been kicked out the Cathedral!

After the ceremony I met up with a few of the people on my course, then I came home and got a chinese take-away for dinner ^^ yum yum! I feel rather tired still - probobly from being on my feet all of yesterday and quite a bit of today. I'll make sure to get enough sleep tonight ^^ then I have work tomorrow, but not all day *smiles*

Quote of the day comes from Kelsey (Angel Zakuro) ~ "One can't live on muffins and internet alone!" ~ hee hee ^^ I liked that, it made me grin. It is nice to hear from you all, I hope to be able to keep in touch more now *nods*
