Here I am posting for once! I also have some fan-art to submit sometime soon. Wow, haven't submitted any fan-art for a good while... I made some little models out of plastercine! *smiles* I think they look rather cute. I do have some drawn art to submit, but due to the lack of a scanner, I don't think anyone will be seeing those for a while. Shucks.
Last night I went out with Craig and Melissa to a nice pub just along the canal. One of the walls there is full of books, pretty books, nice old ones that have that dusty papery smell to them... I didn't get to browse this time though, as the tables next to the books were occupied. The reason for the pub trip was to celebrate Melissa and Craig's degree results, they both got a 2:1 which is really good. We ended up sitting with some random people, one of whom Craig recognised from a FaceBook group about guerilla gardening. They were really cool ^^ we've agreed that we should meet up again and go to Cheryl's [FaceBook person's] alotment and plant some of the spare onions I have, as they'd be much happier growing in soil than in a shallow tub. Good stuff!
Oh, and Craig got baptised in Church on Sunday! They brought in a large bath-like tank to dunk him in. Some of Craig's family came to the service, it was nice to see his mum again. I had to nip off to the charity shop to do my volunteer shift soon after, but I heard that Craig had a little adventure. He said he was walking through a park with his family when he spotted some of his friends in all their re-enactment gear. Basically, they dress up in armour and have mock battles! It sounds like fun, sort of like cos-play, but with a historical twist. Craig got himself thwacked over the head with an axe... Luckily he had a big helmet on, but still! Haha.

This is a test… I tried to replace the image link with one I uploaded myself… No idea if this will work or not *shrugs* if you can read this, then it looks like it has ^^

I apologise for my previous post of gloom XD I just let my mood sink. I’m fine now though, and yes, Kelsey – we WILL figure things out *smiles* I realise that I shouldn’t complain about such things as a Wii… The next time I rant about something, please feel free to tell me to stop being such a ninny~!

Anyway, I moved the TV and the Wii into our dining room, so I can sit in the corner and play games. I’ve been waiting to play Zelda for the past two years or so! I’m not missing this opportunity to play it while I have a borrowed Wii… I may have to return it soon, as Craig is moving in August, and Craig’s current housemate may want it back. Ho hum.

Speaking of Craig, he lost his key the other day, he had to phone a locksmith to come and open the door. The guy turned up and simply slid some plastic thing round the door, and managed to pop the lock open! He said it was a similar method to using a credit-card – only his plastic gadget works, while credit cards don’t. He charged £50 for his service [rather expensive…] but at least Craig wasn’t locked out. He HAD to lose his key the week his housemates are away in France! Haha.

I had lunch in a sushi bar today! That was fun. They give out free re-fills of miso soup! Yummmm~! That made up for me going into work today, even though I didn’t have to as someone got the rota wrong. Sillyness.

I hope you are fine, those of you who drop by ^^ thanks for reading.

*hugs*

[EDIT: I tried changing the font colour... Hope it works!]

GAH! My laptop isn’t co-operating with me… I couldn’t post on theO at all *sigh* I just wanted to share a poem that is important to me, but it seems I’ll have to wait until another day. Today isn’t going my way it seems.

First of all I overslept as my alarm wasn’t set, then after doing the washing up I went to play on the Wii. But that didn’t last five minutes as some of Melly’s [my housemate] friends turned up. They wanted to watch some TV program that I don’t like, and seeing as they are in the living room I felt like I wanted to leave. I get rather anxious sometimes… The thing is, they are watching it on a laptop, so really, they could have moved. I just prefer to leave quietly rather than make a song and dance over not wanting to watch their program. Ugh. Moan, moan…

Sorry. I know, I know, I’m being silly. I just feel rather pissed off right now. I can be a daft, irritable little biscuit… I’ve been having some of those ‘where am I going’ moments recently. I know that it isn’t like I am not doing anything. I just don’t feel like I’m doing enough, but I am unsure where to aim at…

So, some more positive things. I got my hair cut ^^ it is above my shoulders now – hurrah! Plus it only cost me £12 [usually it seems a haircut costs more than £25] which was nice. Oh, and while I was working in the charity shop I spotted some Disney videos, so I bought them ^^ I’m building up a collection XD

I think I need to sit down and get my thoughts in order…

I think this should work... I wanted to use this as my intro box, but when I did everything went rather screwey and my posts were messed up. I'll tidy that all up later ^^ I just found this box while I was browsing Neopets and I thought i'd try it out! I'm not sure if I like how narrow it is, so let me know if you have any problems, mmmK? Ta ^^

Playing Neopets games and listening to Perfume = happy Anna!

Work today was alright, just baking cakes, although it was kinda crowded as Dave was in the kitchen making scones too. We coped though ^^

I have a day off tomorrow so I'm going to meet one of my friends as she is going to Moldova for a few weeks. I hope tomorrow is as sunny as today, I really want to sit in the park ^^ we should bring a picnik, or something.

I'll have to explain my latest card i think. I had thought more people would have heard of 'the game'... Seems I was wrong XD the rules are as follows.

* Do not think of 'the game'. If you think of 'the game' then you lose, and MUST announce your loss to someone. *

TTFN everyone! *hugs*

Stuff, stuff and... Stuff.
Hello there my dear things~! I hope you have been well, i've been rather busy lately, so I just haven't had the time to be on theO/myO much at all. Let me know if i've missed anything important, mmmK? I've missed you all, sorry for not commenting etc T_T

I've been doing alright, even if I have been busy with work. We had a BBQ the other week, shame the weather hasn't been so good this week. I've just been a bit drained, but still cheerful. Tis tiring to work from 9am-6:30pm *nod-nod* but thankfully I haven't had to do that every day, most days it has been 11am-6:30 and that means I get a bit more sleep in the morning XD which helps as i've been watching a tv series [Brothers&Sisters] with my house-mate, Melly. We started watching the third series on the internet, but then decided to rent out the first series on DVD from the library. I think we are about half way through, there must be about twenty three episodes in series one... Fun fun!

Work was a bit nuts today, I went in at 9am to make cakes, but ended up making loads of sandwiches and packed-lunches for a school outing XD some local school had ordered twenty-odd lunches and they wanted them to be delivered to the Cathedral. So we got everything packed up and carried them over -- good job it was only a five minute walk as my boss forgot the crisps and I had to quickly go back and fetch them! I baked six cakes after that, and then I was allowed to leave *dances* hehe. I bought some food on the way home as i'm cooking dinner for Melly and Craig tonight, yummo!

But before that I'm going to plant out my tomatoes, because the rain FINALLY stopped today. It was throwing it down yesterday, which made packing up all the tables and chairs at work rather awkward and, um, soggy. Haha. Hannah and I were soaked in no time, and then we had to drag the ice-cream freezer indoors - the stupid contraption kept getting it's wheels snagged on the ramp! Arrgh! Some nice passer-by helped us in the end, hurrah for them ^^

So, yes. That's about it really. I've missed the past handful of contests I wanted to enter T_T but never mind. I think time is just whizzing by too fast, perhaps it drank too much coffee?

Hugs to all~!

We all scream for ice-cream :D
Hello everyone ^^ I hope you are all doing well. This week has been a good one for me so far, I've worked in the cafe [where I managed to rather dramatically drop a biscuit into my tea during my break, splashing myself in the face in the process, haha]. I went out for a meal with my work colleagues on Tuesday, the food was great -- I had some pork for the main meal, then a pastry ring filled with cream and strawberries for pudding!

Earlier in the week I visited my friend Al in Liverpool, he was giving his new friends from work a guided tour around the city, it was a bit rushed but fun. The journey home was a bit naff though, as the trains were cancled for part of the route due to track maintenence. There was a bus service but I just missed the one I needed and had to sit around and wait on my own for a while. Should have brought a book along...

As for today, I went to work at 12pm [hurrah for lazy mornings!] and discovered that there was a big freezer display full of ice-cream. Tasty, home-made, fresh Italian ice-cream! Yum... I was told that I would be working on there for my shift :D which was wonderful as the weather was gorgeous today, and being outside working didn't seem like a chore at all. In fact it was so warm that the ice-cream became rather smushy, haha. I gave out plenty of samples so hopefully people will come back to buy some. I was given a free cone too, it was sooo good. I just need to find a way to stop the chocolate covered cones from melting in the heat. I think getting one of those insulated freezer bags could work if I pack some ice packs inside... For tomorrow i'll just have to move the cone-holder so it stays in the shade. Anyway, seeing as it was the first day the cafe has sold the ice-cream I think it did really well, I must have made about £150 out there today easily, which made my boss happy :D I'm hoping that I get to work outside tomorrow~! I'll have to remember the sun-lotion to stop me burning...

Oh! Now that he has finished all his exams, Craig is moving in to his friends house on Sunday - hopefully! *smiles* That'll be fantastic as they only live about 2 minutes walk from my house [compared to an hour and a half train journey]. He managed to get a job interview for this week coming too - fast mover! Haha. I'm not sure what it is for, but any job is helpful when you have rent to pay. I'm just happy that I can see him more often *dances* although I think i'm still going to visit his Nan when I can, because she is just so lovely.

Right. I need to sleep now. So night night all! I'll try to catch up with you when I can~! Many hugs to everyone :3

*stabs dvd*
Hello my dear things ^^ it was nice to hear from you as always. Stixx! Welcome back! *hugs everyone* I hope you have all had a good week, are you looking forward to the weekend? I'm working on Saturday, volunteering Sunday, then working again Monday. Ha. I don't mind though, as i'll likely have some free time during the week ^^ plus, i'm in with Vicky tomorrow and she's lovely.

I've had a good week so far, although I did have an odd moment yesterday... I'm alright now, I just ended up feeling awkrard over watching a film my housemate wanted to see. I know it was only rated as a 15 but still, after reading the blurb on the DVD box I knew there would be aspects of the film i'd rather not watch. It just... Makes me feel uncomfortable, so I went and did my own thing. My mood was rather out of whack for the rest of the evening *sighs* but I managed to keep myself busy by watching Haibane Renmei ^^ i'm really enjoying it.

I submitted a wallpaper of Chii ^^ thanks so much to all who commented/hugged it, you made me smiley. I think I may temporarily change my avi... Fufufu!

TTFN, love to you all!

Pictures taken by mobile phones aren't often very clear...
Here are some pictures of my little trip to Liverpool ^^ I went into the Catholic Cathedral for the first time, it was really pretty. The building is circular inside and there is a stained glass window in the tower thing at the top that lets the light in over the centre of the room.

After having a look around there for a while I went for a wander and bought a couple of books, then I met up with Craig and headed to the Chinese Supermarket. I found some mochi and a wok ^^ my old one has bitten the dust after three years… Silly thing went rusty. Nyeh.

Oh, and I made some new wallpapers while I was away ^^ I'll submit them soonish *nod-nod*

Luff to all! *hugs*

The Catholic Cathedral in Liverpool. I can’t help thinking it looks like a building out of Star Gate or something.

*is eating dinner*
Wow. I didn't realise just how hungry I was XD this is so tasty! Shame it is my last packet of ramen noodles... I need a trip to the Chinese Supermarket in Liverpool ASAP!

So, how is everyone? Nice to hear from you again ^^ I've been busy at work this week, worked all through the week and today [Saturday]. My boss has asked me to take charge of doing a weekly stock-check too, so i'll see how that goes on Monday ^^ but before that I have church and the charity shop work tomorrow, so I still feel more action-packed than I have in a while, haha. Tis good *nod-nod* although I think i'm in work fewer days this week coming... Perhaps if I have a couple of days free i'll go visit Craig and his nan ^^ I love Craig's nan, she is so sweet.

Oh, before I forget ~ in answer to Kelsey's question, I get paid every week, but I get paid for the cakes seperately every month. Only my boss skipped a month T_T but that is all sorted now ~ Yay!

So. I worked today [it was manic!] at one point we had a group of cross-country ski-ers invade the cafe! They were all kitted up with poles and ski-things with wheels on. They kept us busy XD we ran out of soup during the day, and then later on we were almost out of cakes and scones. I'd forgotten how busy a Saturday can be. Then after my shift, as something organised by people in my church, I volunteered to do some fundraising for Christian Aid, seeing as this week was 'Christian Aid week'. So after grabbing a snack I went out to collect any donations people had left. Well, that was the plan anyway. I'd posted the envelopes through the doors of the two streets I was covering earlier in the week, and seeing as today was the last day of Christian Aid week I thought i'd best go and collect things. Most people were either out, or pretending not to be in =_= so i'll pop back tomorrow and check, just in case.

I had a lovely surprise earlier today though, I went down for breakfast and Melly [my housemate] told me she had bought me a present while she was in the supermarket the night before ^^ she gave me a pretty purple shirt, I wasn't expecting it at all! It is quite long and has a tie at the back. She's too nice, Melly is. Seriously, if it wasn't for her not charging me too much for rent i'd have to be living back at home... [Slowly going mad] XD I love my family, but home isn't home since i've moved away and gone to uni. I like my space now. Although hopefully my sister will come and visit me, I miss her...

Well, TTFN dear things *hugs*
