Card Captor Sakura AMV
I thought I'd post an Card Captor Sakura AMV I made a while back (the only AMV I've made). I've posted it before, but it wasn't working well since that was before YouTube's time. Thanks to YouTube, I can post it now more easily. Sorry it's a bit grainy, but It was better quality before I uploaded it. Let me know what you think.
I wish Microsoft would fix up their cleartype font smoothing option. Has anyone else noticed how Asian fonts actually become less smooth when you turn cleartype on? It really ticks me off.
I started a small Japanese language website a while ago (for people who want to learn), and had made hiragana and katakana charts. At first, I had simply typed the characters into a table, in a large text size, and using a good Japanese font not available on windows. But I was going to have the font available for download, or embed it into the webpage.
Japanese fonts look great in medium to large type when you have standard font smoothing turned on, but when cleartype is turned on, it becomes a bit jagged. So I simply switched to using an image for each character. Boy did that take a while to finish.
I use Japanese a lot on my computer, because I'm taking a Japanese course, and I always have to have cleartype turned off, so I can see it well. But I wish I could turn it on, because Latin text looks so much better when it is.
My mom found another car. We don't have time to look around more because we need a vehicle now, and a friends of her's told her about a guy who was leaving Canada and wanted to sell his car.
I wish we could've gotten a van, but since we don't have time to look around more, for one in our price range, mom just bought the car.
I'm not used to cars. I so clumsy, I don't even know how to get in or out of a car properly. At least it fits everyone in the family. But it doesn't have much room for anything else, so if we go on trips, the trunk is the only space we have. Oh well, it's better than nothing.
