   went out last night
last night i went one of my friends celebrated her birthday. i really had a great time for the first few hours. there were like 20 people and i just kinda talked to some i knew.
after that though we all went down to the village and into one of these cafe's. i really don't know why people go there for fun 0.o
you can't hear yourself think let alone talk to anyone. you end up smelling like an ashtray and you almost slip on all the beer that's on the floor. i allmost fell asleep (to bad i have yet to master the art of sleeping whilst standing ;)

oh well, i enoyed most of the evening ^-^ it wasn't that bad

   Chi?
i've just finished reading Chobits. For a manga that starts of lightly it sure leaves you with plenty to think about. it's left me wondering where our quest for beter and stronger computers, along with our desire to further develope A.I. will lead us.

i like computers. i'm starting college next year and my study will be computersience and robotics. It's where my hart really lies, but i do wonder about the future. i'd rather not see robots capable of thinking for themselves being developed, but i can see it happening and i don't know what'll happen when that becomes a reality...

Anyway Chobits as a series totally rocks! There are plenty of funny moments that stop the series from becoming to heavy or boring. If you get a chance read it ^-^

   New anime on the dutch tv
we've finally got a new series on the tv!^-^ so i can now watch Shaman king!
So far I think it's great. the only thing i'm not to happy with is the voiceacting, it sucks!(we've got a dutch version), but the serie's still great fun to watch, so i'll just put up with it.

   freakshow
WHY?!
why is it so hard to accept people who are different? I mean it's not like just because you're different your going to attack them, is it?! Well?!Well?!

I get so fed up with having to explain every other move I make just because i'm not doing what everybody else does.
I mean if you say your into anime in this country there are to reactions:
1) what's that...Oh cartoons, but isn't that for little children...
2) you don't look like the kind of person who's into hentai and really violent stuff. Oh is pokemon also anime...but then it's really just for children isn't it...

It gets worse when you say you're going to something like the animecon. There's one standard reply to this: that's for geeks and nerds.

this country despertly needs educating!
anime is not just for kids and it's not 18+ either!
some people watch soaps I watch anime, okay.
just accept it for once in your live!!

   new aniway!!!
the new Aniway finally came in today!! Aniway is a dutch magazine about anime,manga and j-pop (for as far as i know it's also the only one we have)
i don't know if there are any other dutchies here at myotaku but i'm gonna post the link anyway
