Longest. Week. EVER
Honestly, it doesn’t even feel like a Friday.
So… my last full week of high school. Was it supposed to be this hectic? With getting my cap and gown, and then already clearing out half of my finals, and yearbooks. I’d break it down, but much of what I wanted to say kinda went into a Live Journal post… What? I post here a heck of a lot more often than on there, and that’s the only place other than maybe facebook where I can keep in touch with some of my online friends dating way back – including an old myO friend (known here in the beforetime as KrazyAnime).
… But then yeah, my LJ account would probably still be gathering dust by now had Silver not poked me a while back and essentially said “Post woman! D:< “ … after I filled out a meme that was on one of her posts.
One thing I can say though: Papa John’s pizza is not quite so good as I remember it. Little Ceasar’s and/or Costco – now THAT’s what I’m talking about. But it was funny seeing Rae and Kana attempt to steal baby tomatoes off of each other’s plates at the honor’s award party (more on that Sunday, probably – or at least an explanation of why we were invited to a pizza banquet at the church). XD I swear, some of the randomness that happens with us. I’ll miss that when I go to college, I really will (but then Kyarri will be there, so it won’t be THAT dull) And I’m… still behind on FMA. I watched episode 5 over at Rae’s, was about to watch ep. 6 before I realized it was getting late and I should get home. So I did. Mom was watching Twilight, even though she watched it after I insisted she read the book and hated it – said “they chopped it up.” But my brother, who loves the movie to bits because he never read the book and probably only likes it because he thinks if he likes Twilight he’ll seem more attractive to the girls. I sat through it with her, while working on stuff on my laptop.
But speaking of college… I heard back from CAC (Central Arizona College). AND I’M IN! ^O^ I just hope they’ll let Kyarri and I choose our courses and stuff within a very short timeframe in July or so, because a couple of weeks after I come back from my big trip abroad she’s going overseas herself – to Germany to visit family. And if she’s driving me to school, we need to have our schedules coordinated so we’re at least in class on the same days so it’s not as much of an inconvenience to her. I didn’t hear much regarding whether I got the scholarship I sent out the acceptance form for, though.
And Mom’s insisting I finish up and go to bed, so thus I shall. Until next time (which hopefully might be a bit more interesting, depending on what one’s interpretation of interesting is), ja ne~!

You were Dating Derek Too? That Two-Timing Jerk!
The very last line in the movie, and a final testament of Bob’s hilarious stupidity (in other words, another Monsters vs. Aliens quote. Meh).
… And the CDs from the concert came in~! Too bad the closest thing I have to a working CD player right now is my laptop and my charging/connection cord in general for my mp3 player has gone missing, the elusive little thing. And for some odd reason, they left the applause in for each piece. O.o
Ren: it’s a professional recording company that really only cuts out the MCing and announcements, what do you expect?
CCR: bit with the way Ali MCs, the announcements are sometimes half the fun of the concert. And come on! The reading of the text for “The Queen to me a Royal Pain doth Give” was just the icing on the cake for that song aside from the chorus of “oy vey”… which I probably did not spell right, but Word is saying I did. Except “oy…” hold on. *consults spell check* Nevermind, spell check was utterly useless in that regard. Thanks a lot -
Ren: if you say “but no thanks,” so help me…
CCR: I actually was half-tempted to do that. Gah, now I’m in night-after-concert mode again! XD But ‘tis a wonderful feeling… Kyarri, maybe since MCC isn’t an option for us we can check out what choirs they might have at CAC… if they have any at all. But you’ll have to help me with the music theory portion of it! I only know what Mr. Jeff has taught us, and that’s basically just note names, the cleffs (except for C cleff), and key signatures – and enough to complete step-wise dictation as if it were a piece of cake. Which I doubt would get me through any college music program.
So today was a rather interesting day. The final draft for my district English final is gonna be epically hard to write, believe it or not, because I can’t quite figure out how to express what I want to say. It’s coming together in my mind, just not on paper, if you know what I mean. Today we had our last test in Econ before the finals (I’m guessing there’s a district and teacher portion in that class too… pardon the expression, but oy vey). Hopefully I did well, as I usually do in Econ… but who knows? Seminary we continued our in-depth study of Revelation, this time the seven seals (chapters 5 and 6, maybe some of 7). Choir was dictation practice (which I did easily) in both classes… and I think I might’ve pissed Mr. Jeff off by not doing the dictation practice again in 6th hour (they were the same practices in every class). In fact, I think all of us in Belle who did it in other choirs and took that time to study pissed him off. French was the usual review, this time talking about what we wish to do in the future and using the conditional. No writing activity this time (though I wrote a short little RP-style fic akin to the mini-fics to review today’s chapter), but Mme. S asked us each what we wanted to do with the rest of our lives. … I just kinda fudged mine – to go to a university and become an adventure novelist. That’s not ENTIRELY what I want to do with my life – I’ve gotta fulfill my divine role as a wife and mother if I can pick out the man I’m supposed to marry out of all the idiot fish in the sea, too. And you know, maybe some manga adaptations of my books (which won’t all be adventure – there’ll be a lot of comedy and romance in my stories too)… but if I don’t succeed as a writer or manga-ka, teaching may be my only option.
After school, I worked to some extent on the finale again, and now I’m at the point where I’m basically about to phase into the epilogue (the graduation party that I seriously hope goes well when I actually do get to that point) and then hopefully I can begin scanning some of the pages so I can do the Photoshop work that needs to be done so I can clean them up and have them ready for upload. Listened to the CD too, as was implied in the post. And Dad made beans – using chunks of that Easter ham from a month ago added in too. How my dad can be so comfortable using leftovers that old, still good or not, is still beyond me.
Ed: I know you still probably have some stuff to do/type, but might I remind you of the time.
CCR: dang it. Ah well, my battery’s running low too. Until next time, ja ne!

My PhD was in DANCE!
My PhD was in DANCE!
Warning, this and other random Monsters vs. Aliens quotes may be thrown around for the next few days in the form of post titles.
Ren: from all you’ve said about it, I’m glad that I stayed here and let you and your mom go see that on your own.
Ed: I second that.
CCR: come on, it wasn’t that bad. … Well, okay, plot-wise it was rather weak, but it’s a kids’ movie. What can you expect?
Ren: and you picked a “kids’ movie” to watch with your mom on your mother-daughter date Friday night?
CCR: *shrug* I heard it was good. And it was either that or X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which I think my mom wanted to watch just for Hugh Jackman. But we’ve got the rest of the week to cover first before I can go in-depth on the mama-daughter date!
So as to why I haven’t been able to post the past week… Word hates me. At least on my mom’s computer. I open up the document I write all the posts in one day and, BAM! The last few posts up until the middle of “Idiot-Proof” were in this weird code that I could not decipher for the life of me! So I had to delete that and copy and paste those posts into the Word document again. And I just got it done tonight due to time constraints. Moral of the story: only post on my laptop from now on.
So, let’s see, where did we leave off… oh. Monday. So my week in a nutshell: Tuesday I went to my brother’s band concert, Wednesday I had my own concert (and a rather emotional farewell to the choir lifestyle… seriously, I’m gonna miss everyone! And since all I know of music theory is note names, key signatures and rhythms (and I’ve almost got melodic dictation down – almost), I doubt I’d make it in a college-level choir or any advanced music education without practically coming even closer to selling my soul to college studies as I probably will be. Okay, so selling my soul is an expression that may sound too extreme…devoting everything I have short of it negatively affecting my spiritual wellbeing. That better?). Thursday, Dad came home… I thought he and the boys were gonna leave for the father-son campout that night, but Dad had to talk to Mom regarding the current child support issue… and yeah, Mom was working Thursday. So they were going to try to leave Friday morning – they didn’t get out of there until sometime after I got home from school. Yesterday was mainly hanging out at Rae’s and working on the Randomosity finale (with which I’m almost done – on that note, this coming week will be the last normal Randomosity comic; after that one’s up, I’ll start uploading finale pages).
Today… a number of things happened. Our Young Womens’ Presidency was released, so YW was just a chance for the old leaders to bid their farewell testimonies/say goodbye and for the new leaders to bear their testimonies as well and give an introduction. And I have an appointment set up for reviewing my Personal Progress stuff so I can get my Young Women Recognition award and medallion next Sunday at 1:30. Tried to get it done today while I was in a meeting with the bishop for my Seminary Graduation interview, but he had to go and set apart the new Young Womens’ Presidency. After I got home – nap time! And watching my brother play DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (Andrew borrowed it from a friend recently), during which I noticed something that most of my fellow DB fans will yell at me for (even though I consider myself a “former” DB fan, but meh – I’ve got a lot of childhood memories associated with my DB/Z/not-so-much-GT fandom)… Picollo, when he’s wearing his cape and his turban thing… from the back can almost be mistaken for a taller Mojo-Jojo. *runs to a bomb shelter to avoid being bricked by Xaos and others*
Ren: a bomb shelter…?
Goku (Saiyuki, as usual) : ooh! Does it have a good food supply?! *jumps into the bomb shelter to raid said food supply*
CCR: ah, no fair! I might need that if I have to stay in here for longer than just this post! *tries to rescue some of the food from Goku*
Ren: *stares at the laptop* … CCR, should I just end this post off for now?
CCR: *from the bomb shelter* sure, not much else to say!
Ren: alright then. *clicks the add post button*

Who is the Monster and Who is the Man?
Zelgadiss: just ONE word, one, about me having read that blasted book of yours, and against my advice you and Rae ended up watching the movie today anyway.
CCR: yep. >D and now I have ideas for a fanfic parodying it… Thanks for the inspiration.
Zelgadiss: *face palm* what did I do to deserve this…?
Goku: say, why are you so affected by the whole thing anyway? It’s not like anything like that happened to -
Zelgadiss: do you REALLY want to get on my nerves today?!
Goku: O.O *gulp* no…
CCR: o.o oo-kay… I think I just opened up a can of worms that I should have left alone altogether.
Moving on and trying not to make our angry chimera friend even angrier, to the day in general. I found out that Kyarri can’t make it to my graduation party due to conflicting plans (the hard part of planning something like that and inviting another graduating friend), but other than that things seem semi-positive. I got another page of the Randomosity finale finished, made my presentations in French and English, and I think we made progress today in choir… not sure. In 3rd hour, I don’t know if my attempts at “attitude” for the song we rehearsed today were good or just plain stupid/half-hearted. In 6th, we did a run-through of all of our pieces except for The Sparks Fly Upward. I found that rehearsal hard, actually. Since we were moved into concert order, someone stood behind me who doesn’t normally stand behind me – and I think she was one of those who doesn’t listen to the director when he says to use proper vowel shapes. I wish I could’ve kindly reminded her to remind her of that (and I do mean kindly – I wasn’t going to yell at them, much as it might sound by my semi-ranting). But I didn’t know exactly who it was… I’m gonna have to get past that issue before concert on Wednesday.
And I found out, on that note, that Wednesday we’re having an after-school rehearsal for the senior song. I just hope I can make it.
… And that’s it. Ren, is Zel calmed down enough yet?
Ed: I… don’t know. He kinda stormed off into the backyard. But the dogs don’t sound like they’re being brutally murdered, so I don’t think it went that far. Just…
CCR: yeah, I know. I shouldn’t have gone so far. That’s one person around whom to avoid mentioning or working on the fic other than my French teacher. Still… now I feel bad.
Ren: monkey-boy didn’t help much. In fact, I think Zel was only annoyed until he opened his mouth.
Goku: D< hey!
CCR: I know. I just hope he knows that if I do write that parody-fic and he’s directly involved in it that I don’t mean such to poke fun at his… erm, chimera-ness if we can call it that (heck, I don’t even have a problem with that aspect of him at all! But then most fans don’t ‘cause we’re used to oddities in anime…).
Ren: given how long he’s probably dealt with the fandom, it’s likely he’s used to that by now.
CCR: I hope you’re right.

Mmm, Chipotle...
But if only their burritos weren’t so HUGE! XD at this point I’ve given up on eating mine like a burrito and have started picking at it with a fork.
Ren: but yours is also more than halfway done.
CCR: true. Still… I think next time I’ll just stick with the corn-salsa. That stuff was mild. But the Pico de Gallo… no-o~ Way too hot to be stuck in a burrito rather than me dipping it into it!
So, yesterday after I posted. I went to Rae’s house, to find out Rae was out baby-sitting. But then you know, Shana wasn’t about to let me leave. ^^; but then an hour later Kyarri and Tawny came and kidnapped me for the day, in which we went application-hunting with Kyarri, got a glimpse at CAC’s campus (the college I’m going to next year), and I… almost spent the night at Tawny’s. But then Dad gave me a weird phone call saying “make good choices,” and also with some sense talked into me by Kyarri, she drove me home. But you know, it was a Saturday night and it’s not like I have church in the afternoon anymore, so it was for the best in the end.
Today I went to church, was given a very, very odd yet disturbing drawing by Shana, and through some paper-note conversation between Kana and Rae and I… I found out just what Itachi did to Ren and Ed during the week of kidnapping. *looks at Ren*
Ren: what? Kana asked what happened since he wouldn’t tell her, so I said it.
CCR: still, the Tsukiyomi? You didn’t tell me that before.
Ren: because I didn’t want you to worry. Once it was over we were fine. With Ed I think it was just a flashback of the transmutation, and me… you won’t know what illusions that man created through his sick mind manipulations to torture me.
CCR: -_- “once it was over you were fine,” my tail. Oh wow, the steak in this burrito is really tender this time…*turns to her burrito and picks out the steak bits to eat that, since she’s too full to eat the rest*
Ren: thank goodness she got distracted by that meat.
Goku: though you know, it was kinda obvious there was some serious torture going on when you guys were captive. When you two came back you just gave CCR this look as though you thought you’d never see her again. Am I the only one who noticed that?
Zelgadiss (from Slayers, for those who don’t know) : no, I saw it too.
Fai: so did I…
Kazuma (Yakitate!! Ja-Pan) : I didn’t notice; I was out getting yeast when they came home.
Ren: -/////- okay, enough already. Fullmetal went through just as much – with Itachi using the Mangekyo to mind-control-feed him milk…
Ed: now THAT was torture – almost worse than the Tsukiyomi. *shudder* that milk was disgusting.
Ren: but you’ve gotta admit it was amusing.
Ed: not to me!
Ren: really? I couldn’t stop laughing the first time he did it. Heck, if he videotaped it and put it on YouTube -
Ed: I would make sure you wouldn’t find it – report the vid to whatever Japanese TV channel broadcasts my anime and claim it as copyright infringement. If they’re removing cosplay videos on those grounds, then they’ll remove that.
Ren: then you’d have to go ahead and report all of those Hetalia MADs that CCR enjoys watching (for whatever reason) too.
CCR: hey, I don’t watch too many of them – go ahead and report the yaoi ones for all I care… except maybe the Germany/Italy ones. That pairing’s more or less canon, so in some ways I’m not as bugged by it. … And I’d seriously like to know why my mom is talking to my dad about shooting things.
Anyway, I also went on a bit of a walk today, got some reading in on Ransom my Heart… and my goodness, I hate Hugo already. The lecherous, drunken… the only good thing about him is that he likes the outdoors! Wonder how that’s gonna work with Finnula eventually falling for him. She’d sooner shoot him to oblivion with that arrow of hers if she knew what he was like, given her personality.
Zelgadiss: not if she wanted that dowry money for her sister.
CCR: o.O you’ve been reading it too?
Zelgadiss: I was bored one day; not like I go with you to school like the rest of the lot. But don’t worry, I’m not even that much farther than you are.
CCR: … just how many of my books have you read, that being the case?
Zelgadiss: the entire Claidi journals set that Kana gave you for Christmas (you’ve seriously gotta catch up on that, by the way), and I’m about halfway through Les Miserables in your Victor Hugo anthology – finished Hunchback of Notre Dame, by the way. On that note, if you don’t want the book spoiled for you don’t make me sit through the Disney movie if you and Rae get a case of nostalgia and decide to watch it.
CCR: o.o … oo-kay. At least I know someone’s reading them.
Zelgadiss: I finished that guide to Japan, as well. Word of advice, finish it before you go, there’s info you’ll need desperately in there. And Hokkaido really does sound like a nice place to visit in the time of year that we’re going.
CCR: I know right?! But what sucks is that it’s not even in our tour itinerary – ah, what am I saying?! This post is getting way too long as it is, and I’ve gotta rewrite that procedure essay for English in step-by-step form in case Caruso docks points… So until next time, ja ne~!

Would've Posted Yesterday~
But yeah… my brother kicked me off the computer before I had the chance and I didn’t want to be up all hours of the night waiting for my laptop to finish charging (I can use it while it’s charging, don’t get me wrong – I’m just not willing to let it sit and charge overnight).
But then not much happened yesterday anyway, save for two things: one, I made cookies. Two…
Goku: TT^TT why did it have to be yesterday…?
Ren: because any longer, she may have gone insane.
CCR: well, yeah. Ren and Ed were finally returned.
Ren: and you. Why didn’t you keep him from getting to my food stash?
CCR: believe me, I tried. That monkey has NAILS!
Goku: *nod nod* besides, she can’t even beat me at video games! What makes you think she could keep me from accessing your stash?
Ren: changing the lock.
CCR: you would’ve been mad at me then because you couldn’t get into it.
Oh! And I watched the latest FMA episode last night too. … I don’t know how they did it, but the producers managed to make the Nina episode this time around even sadder than it was in series 1. While still sticking to the manga timeline, too (before they switched it around to where Ed met Nina and Tucker a lot earlier on – *saying this because she knows Rae only read the manga before this series came out and wouldn’t know the difference between series 1 and 2 of the anime)
Tail: and you made lemonade! Which I still think is too sour… :x
CCR: but I like it sour, so there. xP
So today, I need to… *check to-do list* read my scriptures (can do that later tonight), wash any dishes that may need washing (done for now), make sure at least one cookie is saved for when my grandma comes over… Oh! And I gotta call up the people I want to invite to my graduation party so my grandma knows how many are coming! (I think she’s making reservations at the restaurant just in case, and thus she wants to get this settled two weeks in advance) … and I can probably make those phone calls throughout the day.
Ren: and you need to actually change into some clothes for the day instead of lounging around in your pajamas.
CCR: that too.

Idiot-Proof
At least, that’s how I hope my procedure essay rates for English. But then, I suppose some things are never completely idiot-proof…
Goku and Tail: D< HEY!
CCR: who said I was talking about you guys? Oh, Goku – update from Kana, Itachi intends to send them back “soon.” That “soon” could be graduation or it could be in five minutes. Either way I suggest you stop stealing from Ren’s milk-and-peach stash and replace what you took.
Goku: hey, Kana’s “soon” is unpredictable.
CCR: and you say this while gulping down a glass of his premium-quality might-as-well-be-imported milk, and one of his peaches is sliced up on a plate in front of you.
Goku: … so?
CCR: that’s the last of it. After that, stop.
Goku: .A. but they might not even be back as “soon” as you think.
CCR: still, I wouldn’t take my chances.
Goku: but it’s GOOD! Seriously, try some. *hands out a slice of peach to her*
CCR: I have, and I agree – it is. Best milk, and the best peaches I’ve ever had. But you see, I had a little thing called permission. You don’t seem to know the meaning of the word when it comes to that.
Goku: I tried asking – he says “no” every time! And when the food around the house runs low, the stash is always plentiful.
CCR: *face palm* okay then, it’s your funeral.
Tail: why’s that pointy-haired guy (referring to Ren) such a stickler about his peaches and milk anyway?
CCR: milk has been proven numerous times to be his favorite beverage (go figure, total opposite of Ed), and peahces are his favorite fruit. And, well, I guess before he was deemed old enough to be “trained” however his dad did so, bear in mind he came from a wealthy family – he was probably spoiled.
Jun: we both were – but only for the first two to three years, tops. Then everything started going downhill. We were children of the Tao family, it was expected of us to learn the family art at a young age – Ren to be a powerful shaman (eventually the Shaman King, as our family saw it), and I to assist him and learn the art of the dao-shi.
Tail: now see, I’m not even gonna ask what those are.
CCR: please don’t… tonight’s mini-fic segments have an awfully serious tone to them so far.
Anyway, as far as school goes, Econ was pretty much a free class period – or not. A rep from Everest College came in, so we talked about that. Not as showy a presentation as DeVry (heck, DeVry let us use PDAs to participate in the promo stuff), but they seemed to have some valid points. Second hour we quickly studied 3rd John, went over stuff such as who’s eligible for the Stake President’s Honors Award this year (I think I’m gonna be in again – I’ve gotten it the last three years and my grade in Seminary is typically pretty good), derby stuff, and we watched a video on temples. Choir – third hour we spent working out the kinks in The Sparks Fly Upward, sixth was a run through of three of our pieces (Laughing Song, I Am the River, and Sweeney Todd). In French we started presenting our Power Points – and taking notes on them. Luckily, I didn’t present mine yet, so I was still able to work out some noticeable kinks in mine. Still, I’m afraid my simple presentation on Alsace, even though it has animation and the rest of them haven’t yet so far, won’t compare to the hauntings at the Chateau of Versailles or guillotines or the Megalithes of… what was that place called again? I remember it started with a “c”… Ah well, I know they’re somewhere in Bretagne (using the French name for the region because the English term for the region is too awkward for me to say – makes me think I was named after a piece of land – or a dog ‘cause of a type of spaniel named after the same region).
Fai: Bretagne… what region of France is that?
CCR: alright, alright, in English it’s more commonly called Brittany! Happy now?! I still feel awkward using my real name to refer to part of a country…
Tail: if it makes you feel better, I think Mara once mentioned that a river in Africa has a name similar to hers…
CCR: the Mara river in… crap, was it in Kenya? All I know is it’s in the Masai-Mara savannah (obviously). … Great, I’m even forgetting stuff I could once name off the top of my head. I need to watch Animal Planet more often again.
So once I got home and completed my English paper (which I tested with my mom – I just hope my teacher doesn’t think it’s too short), I read my scriptures, worked on the Randomosity finale a bit (and I still need to get this week’s regular Randomosity comic drawn… hopefully something comes up that I can use, because at this rate I’ve only got a few weeks left before graduation – that means only a few regular comics left before I have to start uploading what I have of the finale)… and yeah. I’m getting distracted again. Veh…
Oh! I’ve had an idea for another fanfic (Soul Eater, yet again, with the paring of – you guessed it – SoulxMaka). I’m afraid it might be a tad cliché and overused though because it’ll be an AU and will make use of Soul’s piano skills quite a bit… and a main theme overall will be music. Halp, I think being in choir has influenced me~ But it may or may not be a multi-chapter versus my usual one-shots! Maybe, depending.
Goku: question – why do you write so much about those two anyway?
CCR: because SoulxMaka is luff~
Goku: you’ve said the same things about Jun and Pailong in the past and have never written a fic about them. You have two, three if you count Christmas in Death City, for Soul and Maka.
CCR: PyJun is significantly harder to write than SouMaka, sadly. But when it’s written effectively, that is also luff~ Gah, now I wanna go back and read So Close, So Far. Such a good fanfic… and its two sequels were good too (SC,SF is a fic written by fanfiction.net’s Setsumi-san – highly recommend it to any Shaman King fans out there if you’re a fan of the pairing mentioned).
Ah, what am I talking about? The lateness of the night is getting to my head…. And I’m getting a bit dizzy, but that’s probably the ear infection at work. Until next time, ja ne~!

The Return
Well, I woke up perfectly fine this morning. Went to school, and I made it through.
And the day went great.
I didn’t have to play race-the-teacher yet in Econ because we had already finished half of the notes we’re going over in that class on Monday, and also because the teacher tends to get in random vent episodes (within reason) when it comes to this chapter – which covers taxes. In Seminary we covered John’s second epistle, and in Dolce we just rehearsed A Maying, A Playing – and found out our principal’s going off to work for the district next year. French, we started our new chapter. Then at lunch, the seniors (or the few seniors that showed up) started rehearsing for our special number, and in the last five minutes I snuck off to the library for the book fair – missed the author panel/signing, but meh. I don’t even know the author that was there anyway. I bought volume one of Comic Party and the new Meg Cabot book, Ransom my Heart (Meg Cabot is known mainly for The Princess Diaries, I believe – heck, technically the book is listed as being written by Mia “with help from” the actual author). We’ll see if it’s any good…. If I have time to read it. *glances at her Victor Hugo anthology from Rae, in which she’s barely started The Hunchback of Notre Dame and hasn’t considered finishing Les Miserables from where she left off; and the Tanith Lee collection (consisting of the first three books in the Claidi journals) that she got from Kana a couple of Christmases ago – and she’s only in the first book* And then in English I found out we’re starting a how-to essay: the kind you write in junior-high science classes that have to be totally idiot-proof. What a day my body picked to be absent. Then in Belle we rehearsed The Sparks Fly Upward and discussed interpretation for that.
Tail: *picks up CCR’s guide to Japan* what about this? Don’t you need to finish this too before you go this summer…?
CCR: I also need to figure out from Kana how to get Ren and Ed back, now that I know who the captor is… that freakin’ stupid red-eyed old man blind weasel... (I’m saying all that and I’m a semi-former Itachi fan – what’s with me?) and all this time I thought it was actually someone existent. But no. It was Itachi. (keep in mind, this is going into mini-fic mode) If I didn’t know any better, so help me…
Fai: well he’s with Kurai now because of Sasuke, right? With her influence he should send them back soon.
CCR: I can only hope. If this goes on much longer, so help me…
But anyway, on to the point: much to my inner book worm’s protesting, it looks like my current routine and my drawing habits have denied me time to read anymore unless it’s my scriptures. Not that reading scriptures is a bad thing (it’s the word of God, how can it be bad?) but… maybe I should start actually reading more often, other than just manga. Like I used to as a kid – heck, I was at an 8th grade reading level by 6th grade, 6th grade level by 3rd! Right now I’m probably sitting at 12th-grade level, if not lower… I disgust myself.
Goku: it could be worse – in French your reading level’s not even at kindergarten level yet I’ll bet.
CCR: yeah, I know. Our readings of Le Petit Nicolas has proven that of all of us French III students, considering that was probably written at a level equivalent to the Ramona Quimby and Junie B. Jones books in the States (though to this day I find both series enjoyable – if I can get time to read them). Half the time I have to rely on Mme. Sereno’s explanations and the illustrations to understand half of what’s going on.
Anyway, enough about reading. It’s late, this’ll probably be posted as being written on Thursday over on myO again because of it, and I probably gotta finish my scripture reading for the day and start this new book before bed… okay, okay, or continue the dozens of books I still gotta finish reading. Until next time, ja ne!

So That's What it Was...
Well, I ended up staying home today (still hoping I can go to school tomorrow though – I’m seriously running out of excused absences in 4th and 6th hour, and I want to graduate dang it! I’ve sent in my college application and everything…). Mom took me to urgent care (which ended up being a 1 ½ to 2-hour long wait because only one doctor was on duty)… and we found out I have an ear infection in my left ear (the probable cause for the fevers), and a mild case of strep throat. We got a prescription for an antibiotic that they used to give my brother a lot of times when he had his ear infections as a kid (ironically enough called Augmentin – and created by an Austrian. … Never mind, only a Hetalia fan/musician would get that… both for the best effect). And I’ve been instructed to take it twice a day, preferably spanning it over a space of 12 hours. With any luck, my fever will at the very least be reduced to 99 or something and I can go to school tomorrow and the rest of the week! ^^
So, that’s all I did really today. Well, except for finally getting around to watching Charlie the Unicorn 3 after Rideru told me about it a while back, and I’m currently watching another one of those Hetalia MADs… a Lucky Star parody, at that. *glances at the clock* -.- why isn’t my brother here to feed the dogs yet…?
Fai: he did say he was going swimming, so likely his phone’s set aside and he won’t get the message until he’s about to go to mutual with whomever he’s getting a ride from.
CCR: crap… well, I could do it, but… last I checked I was about 101.4 degrees (yet I barely feel any of the symptoms). I don’t want them to get sick too.
Goku (oh, since I didn’t mention it in the last post he was in, for newer subs I always use the Saiyuki Goku in my mini-fics, not the Dragonball Goku) : it’s at a time like this that Ren would go and say, “Like they’re gonna catch an ear infection from you!”
CCR: ;^; don’t remind me… Still, if no one else is gonna do it… (Mom went to visit Dad) And they’re fighting. Guess that drafts me into the job. Unless… *attempts to call her brother instead of text him this time* … really? Okay, then. *hangs up cell phone* well, I guess he fed them when he came for a towel.
Fai: yeah, I probably should’ve mentioned that… *looks away and whistles innocently* Hey, remember this? *goes out to the front door and presses the doorbell… which releases the sound of a rubber duck*
CCR: oh yeah. Dad didn’t uninstall that already?
Fai: oh, he did. I just re-installed it while you were out seeing the doctor.
CCR: why?
Fai: to lighten the mood when needed! ^^
CCR: oo-kay… *continues watching Hetalia MAD* o.o holy crap, Liet and Poland cheerleading~! Squee~ <3
Zelgadiss: and I thought you didn’t support shounen-ai unless there is reasonable implication that such is actually canon to the series.
CCR: I know, I know. And I wasn’t implying anything yaoi. I just find it cute~! ^_^ *continues watching*
Goku: oh yeah, isn’t that Liet guy your favorite character or something?
CCR: yep! In Hetalia at least… N. Italy comes at a close second – just ‘cause he’s awesome. *the video goes to the credits* o.O when was Turkey in there…?
all but CCR: don’t ask us, we weren’t watching.
Goku: oh, by the way CCR-san. When are Ren and Ed coming back – so I know how much time I have to replace whatever I steal from Ren’s peach-and-milk stash?
CCR: I have no idea – I might never get them back at this rate! Darn it, if it IS *insert Kana’s little sister’s name here*, so help me... But then I can’t do anything if it is. She’s Kana’s sister.
Well, I best be going now – check my temperature, do what I need to do before I go and crash (hopefully though I don’t crash too soon – today I’m supposed to take the antibiotics when we got back from the doctor and then right before bed). Until next time, ja ne~

Sick AGAIN?!
Or at least I was most of today. But that will be explained later.
Econ – wrote a page and a half of notes, and worked on our chapter assignment (that’s like all we do in that class other than testing).
Seminary - studied the first two chapters of 1st John
Choir(Dolce) – rehearsed Thanks A Lot, But No Thanks. That’s when I really started feeling sick-ish and began to develop all of my normal fever symptoms. Worst yet on the way to French, Kyarri said I was kinda warm.
French – worked on my powerpoint… which is pretty much done at this point except I have to go and insert a bunch of symbols. Oh French language, why must you be so confuzzling with your symbols?!
Lunch – felt only slightly better after getting some food in my stomach. Still felt like I could collapse any second though.
English – we took our vocab quiz. Enough said.
Choir(Belle) – rehearsed I Am the River, but then the student teacher directing that had to go to ASU for a piano lesson, so the rest of the class period we ran through our pieces (we finally got through The Ballad of Sweeney Todd without stopping! =D)
After school… I took my temperature to find out I was running a fever of 100.8 degrees for who knows how long throughout the day. Took some ibuprofen because Mom was working and couldn’t take me down to urgent care (I had the same thing about a week ago), read my scriptures and just about crashed until Mom got home. My fever had reduced to 99.1, so I went and took a shower. No more straight hair for me for a while (Kyarri took a straight iron to my hair for prom, if I didn’t mention earlier). Although everyone kept complimenting me on it today saying I looked better with straight hair… but one person, kind of the resident perv of the anime club before he stopped going, said I looked pretty as I was walking to the bus from 6th hour. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Sure, he’s a nice guy when he’s not going on about hentai and telling me why it’s so weird that I’m an aspiring manga artist despite my religion, but… still. He’s kinda creepy and I’m glad I no longer have any classes with him.
Then, my brother came up to Mom begging her to get ink – he had to finish a project tonight for English that was due today. And I ended up having to copy down his rough draft onto Word (with some much needed modifications) in a larger font so he could paste it onto a poster board.
Well, I suppose that’s it for tonight because it is in fact late and my hair is finally dry enough for me to sleep. Wish me luck on not being sick again tomorrow – I might need it.
