Nichi Youbi: Ato De...
Translation - Sunday: Later on...
No particular reason for the title, just practicing my Japanese since I amde a couple more Kanji flashcards earlier. Yeah, I've seriously gotta catch up on that. I could be much farther than I am now, but I ended up slacking over the summer... so even though my mom was against me taking Chinese at the same time I'm continuing French, I'm trying to learn Japanese at the same time anyway. So what was the point of keeping me from taking Chinese for my online course?
Ren: the fact that you don't evne know if you're able to record sounds on this computer, which is one of the requirements to take the class.
CCR: oh yeah, huh... well, there's a plug for a microphone, just the plug for the mic we have is too big to fit into the comp's microphone outlet. So I'm sure it's possible, just... difficult.
So today, pretty much same old same old. Went to church, then choir practice afterward, all that fun stuff... but I found out Rae's dad broke his foot yesterday, so that's not good. After we got home we cleaned up the house a bit, I took a nap, and then Mom made dinner! ^^ ... and is it just me or have we been eating turkey at just about every meal she's made lately?
Goku (Saiyuki): I'm not complaining about that. Food is food, provided it's good food. And your mom's food tastes good a lot of the time, especially when she added cheese to the mashed potatoes. mmmm, cheesy mashed potatoes... man, now I'm hungry again.
CCR: there are plenty of leftover mashed potatoes in the fridge; help yourself.
Goku: sweet! *runs to the fridge and heats up some of the leftover mashed potatoes*
Ed: and he thought he required permission to eat the mashed potatoes?
CCR: well, considering Ren's always getting on his case for getting into his milk and peach stash, I think he's been scared into it. Not to mention he's practically spoiled here. I can already hear Sanzo nagging at me, and then Gojyo calling him "spoiled monkey" from then on... -_-;
Goku: *in between bites of mashed potatoes* Sanzo wasn't that bad, you know.
CCR: I know, I know, I'm merely joking... for the most part.
Ed: key word being "for the most part." You're not too fond of Sanzo, are you?
CCR: no, I'm fine with him. It's Gojyo that bugs the heck out of me.
Also, Kana's finally caught up on the storyline for Sky (my original story that I recently finished the latest chapter for - she asked me to print out the chapters for her to reread them because she forgot everything about it). I got a positive response on it from both her and Rae, and then I've got another person who favorited the story on Fiction Press, so I just gotta find time to get it on dA now. Putting writing on deviantART is a pain in the butt for a variety of reasons. One: you have to copy and paste it all into a "text" file they provide. Two: all effects are disabled, so you have to put in HTML tags to re-bold and re-italicize stuff that was originaly bolded or italicized. But I've gotten a minor fanbase for both my stories through dA, so it somewhat pays off. Crap, my glasses are all smudged up... Ah well, I can take care of that later before I go to bed. Speaking of which, probably ought to do that now. Until next time, ja ne!

Do Youbi: Weekend
Translation for first part: Saturday
Well, the first weekend of the school year. It felt quite relieving. I ended up sleeping in until 11, spent most of the day at Rae's (mainly because Stephen, my brother's friend, was still here and I dind't want to deal with the brats), and then got a couple drawings done - or rather one and a half; I'm working on coloring in one that's sitting right in front of me at the moment. All I've left to do on that is color in the skin and the hair, then I be finished. Oh, and there's the plushie she's holding... Okay, a tiny bit more than I thought, but that doesn't count.
I also watched Soul Eater episode 19 today. What I have to say about it: my goodness, if Maka gets killed just because she decided she had to have a face-off with Chrona and Ragnarok, so help me... meh, what can I say?
Other than that, nothing much really. Boy does that remind me of summer vacation. It seems so close in the past, yet so distant at the same time... like the title of my favorite fanfic trilogy, So Close, So Far! ^^;
Ren: -_- PLEASE don't go into a PyJun rant tonight.
CCR: relax, I'm not. I was just making an observation is all.
And also I thought I'd congradulate Makademia on her quiz getting approved!
Ren: you're doing this in a post why?
CCR: *shrug* I figured I might as well. And it's 10:14... church starts at 8 in the morning. Do I continue this or not?
Ren: what is there to continue this from?
CCR: well there were the dreams I had last night and this morning... but all of them were really weird, especially the first and last one. *suddenly starts working on her drawing*
Ren: if you don't want to be a zombie and almost fall asleep in the middle of Sacrament meeting again, I suggest you get to bed.
CCR: I know. But I've survived first and second hour the past week without falling asleep, I think I can handle church. ... and I'm drawing again. Okay, maybe I should end this post and concentrate on just that. Until next time, ja ne!

Kin Youbi; Sress (mostly) Resolved
Translation for first part: Friday.
Also, apologies to my myO readers that last night's post never made it to that site. I finished the post too early and it seems permanently set to 10 pm my time = midnight.
W00t! Government homework was completed in class (surprisingly), I don't necessarily have Mythology homework... all I gotta do this weekend is read my scriptures every day. ^^
Ren: what do you mean by "necessarily" as far as the Mythology homework?
CCR: well he didn't give us a copy of the chapter 2 packet to take home to work on the study guide questions, and we didn't even finish reading the packet in class, so I'm guessing it's just for when we do finish it. But Driver's Ed... I fail at simulators! T^T
Ren: naturally you do, it was the first time you guys used them.
CCR: it's not just that... the mock accident video they showed us afterward with the whole "every 15 minutes a teen dies in a car accident" type deal... that's reminding me of precisely the reason I don't want to drive! I'm afraid I might hurt myself or those around me in the process. Plus a pilot for Southwest Airlines once subbed for our math class last year and said that flying a plane is safer than driving.
Ren: but you don't have the money to fly everywhere.
CCR: true. *sigh* crap.
Ed: ... why's your brother's friend here?
CCR: he's spending the night. And apparently they're watching Blades of Glory, a movie both Mom and I refuse to watch.
"Talking about me behind my back, huh?"
CCR: dang it, why did he have to read over my shoulder?! Having the computer in the kitchen has its major downsides to it.
But heck, there's not much left to post anyway. So until next time, ja ne!

Sui Youbi: Je suis Creve'!
Translation for first part, Japanese to English: Wednesday. Translation for second part, French to English: I'm exhausetd! (it's kind of a slang term, literally meaning "I'm a dead animal" or something to that effect. I think I might have forgotten to add an e...)
Ren: -__-; it's 10 pm, and your main concern is posting?
CCR: well I dind't post yesterday because of mutual and that illuminated manuscript I had to draw for choir (basically we wrote our name all fancy and added a bunch of fun details and stuff; just a fun activity the director had us do so he had something to decorate the room with). I have to post tonight, at the very least...
Ren: uh-huh. When you're about to fall over after barely finishing that essay for Mythology and checking everyone's World and myO posts from the past two days?
CCR: and you expect me to be sane?
Ren: ... point taken.
CCR: so anyway, yesterday was basically just another intro day. The only things we did classwork-wise was our first assignment for Mythology, which I completed in Government, where we kept going over the curriculum; since I'm aware I skipped it just now, Seminary was a lesson on using the footnotes... or was that today? Gah, I'm getting it mixed up! Either way, it was the same basic pre-actual-study stuff, except we're already starting to go over Scripture Mastery and we were using Matthew chapter 2 to practice using scripture study techniques. French, we graded the assessment tests that the French 2 kids had to take... I feel so bad for the person whose test I graded. She got a 59 out of 100 and Mme. S said if they didn't get 70 or higher they can't be in French 2. And after that we spent the rest of the hour labeling a map of France. Lunch wasn't as chaotic as Monday, and I actually got my food at a decent time. Driver's Ed.... he showed us the simulators and told us about optional Behind-the-Wheel instruction. My mom's compelling me to do behind-the-wheel so I don't have to take the road test to get my license. And then we also did the permit test he handed out. Choir we practiced another song with Latin lyrics, like another song we practiced Monday. Then mutual was a talent show. To start the Laurels sang, and then on the second round I took drawing requests on the white board.
Today... let's see if I can get this part of the post more organized.
Mythology - did a little word-game assignment, turned in our notebooks with our homework in it, and then were assigned an essay, which we had to get all of the stuff - prewriting, rough draft, and final draft - done and turned in by Friday. That's why I'm typing this whilist being dead tired, because I went ahead and finished it today.
Seminary - okay, so it was today that we did the scripture study lesson.
Gov. - got our first assignment despite not having our textbooks yet, though he's giving us until Tuesday, with at home work and in class time to get it done. Tomorrow, we actually get the books. Oh joy...
French - finished that map; the vice principal went on the TV screens throughout the school to explain the student handbook, same basic first-week-of-school prodecure.
Lunch - ... not much to say here.
Driver's Ed - we started grading the permit tests. Since we're only allowed to miss six questions on the actual test... I missed seven so far. But hey, I know what to watch out for when I take the actual test now, ne?
Choir - turned in our illuminated manuscripts, and practiced our finale song for the first concert of the year.
After school, I got caught up in my old essays and stuff from my English classes of years past (I keep some of them because a couple of the narratives and compare/contrasts are actually quite amusing). Mom called, said my new glasses were in (I'm wearing them now. ^^), and we went to pick them up. We would've picked up my brother's CTR ring too, but then the hot water heater at the other house that we're renting out broke, so we gotta find a way to get that fixed. Then I got home, did my essay, ate dinner... that's about it. *falls asleep on the keyboard in her old, usual manner*
Ren: *pokes CCR with a stick* okay, now you've gotta go to bed.
CCR: but I gotta do the comment responses for the myO version of this post, too...
Ren: or you can do that in the morning when you're somewhat rested.
CCR: true... meh. Ja ne. *waves weakly then stumbles off to bed*

Getsu Youbi: Janus
Translation for first part: Monday. Janus is supposedly the name of the Greco-Roman god of beginnings (not sure if it's Greco-Roman. Mr. B didn't point that out)
So my first day of school... comme ci, comme ca. (French to English: so-so. And I know, I'm missing the accents, but I can't get them on this keyboard)
Let's break it down hour by hour, shall we?
First hour - Mythology: Mr. Best seems okay enough. We went through the procedures, what we'll be studying in the course, so on and so forth. And we got our seating assignments.
Second hour - Seminary: same as usual; Brother Goss kind of made it more or less an introductory day. Turns out someone from my old ward years ago is in the same hour as me. And I saw a ground squirrel outside the building! =D
Third hour - Government: hopefully this class won't be as hard as people say it is; all I can say there. The teacher, fortunatley, is not another Tecku (my English teacher second semester last year that I sometimes called Tengu-sensei here because I realized his name almost sounded like Tengu).
Fourth hour - French III: There is no escaping Madame S, it would seem. Because of her recommendation, I'm in the level three class. Let's hope I do well here, shall we?
Fifth hour - Driver's Ed: teacher seems okay, more or less a Disney fan it would be assumed, considering the stop sign on his stand-thingy-tht-I-don't-remember-the-name-of-at-the-moment ha dhte shape of Mickey Mouse's head as the o. And as I guessed, I'm surrounded by Sophomores... surprisingly a lot from Fremont (my old junior high school).
Sixth hour - Choir: I like Medlock already. And I accidentally sat in the alto section today, so when he was introducing parts to one of the songs, I had to sing with the altos when their part was first gone over, then the soprano, so I could look like I was paying attention. And it looks like it'll be a fun year, too, with a lot of good songs in the lineup. In one of the concerts we're apparently gonna sing a song from Sweeny Todd, but it's one from the original and not the Johnny Depp version that I didn't watch because it was rated R. Luckily, I have a high tolerance for Christmas songs, because we'll be singing a lot of those it seems around the holidays... to the point where Medlock was singing to the tune of "It's the Holiday Season," the following: It's the Holiday Season, and you'll hate these songs, every year, but we have to sing them because that's what they want to hear.
After school, I had to direct Rae and a few other Sophomores to the bus because they weren't there in the morning due to A hour or some other reason. I got home, greeted my dad, and fell asleep until 6:30 when he woke me up for dinner. After dinner and washing dishes, I worked on chapter 6 of Sky. I think I might have it done... by the end of the week, depending on certain contributing factors such as time and artist's block.
Ren: you're cutting it very close, you know that...?
CCR: what?
Ren: at 9:05 your mom said only twenty minutes before you had to be in bed; it's 9:19.
CCR: oh yeah, huh... crap. Ah well, parents will hopefully get a little more lax with that as the school year progresses. Key word being hopefully. But for now, bon nuit (French to English: good night).
EDIT: oh, and in case you couldn't already tell, along with the very occasional Japanese to practice, I may start using French a little more frequently in my posts, with translation in parenthesis.

Nichi Youbi: Back to School...
Translation for first part: Sunday.
... I don't wanna go back!!! T^T
Ren: -_-; you've been complaining like this for a while, we get it.
CCR: but that still doesn't make much difference. I'm going back tomorrow whether I like it or not. Still nervous about it being my senior year and all, but once college starts, the real fun begins! ... Right?
Ren: are you sure you can say that, considering you made the fatal mistake of choosing not to take Trigonometry this year?
CCR: ... true. But beyond the intense math tutoring that I'll doubtlessly need if I really do have to take college algebra, and the homework up the wazoo that'll keep me extremely busy... never mind, this will be the last time I'll ever have a social life before I'm swamped by homework and then get married. After that, social life stays in the church and workplace circle.
Ren: *rolls eyes* you just keep on being negative.
CCR: well, okay, so it won't be that bad. But still, Kyarri, Addy, Korasu, Kira, maybe even Kana and Rae if we go through with the move next year... after graduation, the chances of ever seeing them again are slim.
Ed: do we have to hypnotize her to get her to think positively or something?
Ren: seems like it. But then how the heck are we supposed to do that?
Ed: heck if I know.
Ren: try having a solution before suggesting a plan, shrimp.
*a few minutes later*
Goku (Saiyuki): hey CCR, you don't mind if I eat a pickle or two, do you? O_O ... what happened here?
CCR: Ren said the "s" word in front of Edo-kun, but before all hell broke loose I told them to take it outside. But if they lay a finger on the cat, they're in for a world of hurt by my hand.
Goku: ouch. But I'm pretty sure that Train's smart enough to stay out of their path.
CCR: let's hope so...
That aside, today after church mainly consisted of resting/relaxing, getting stuff ready for school, a round of BS and Yahtzee(sp?), and a trip to Aunt Mary's for dinner. Funny, I think we went over to her house the Sunday before school started last year, too, but that's probably because it's always right around my dad's birthday. The food was good, as usual. Didn't resist the temptation to take seconds on the food, as is usual for a trip to Mary's... but then Mom and I only got one brownie and a scoop of ice cream for dessert while all the guys got two brownies and two scoops. *sigh* ah well.
Ren: she was probably doing that because she knew the two of you are trying to manage your weight.
CCR: I thought you were outside fighting with Ed.
Ren: I was, but then I got a phone call and we stopped. Besides, Fullmetal's automail would've gotten busted if we'd gone any further anyway... and we know how Winry is.
CCR: at least you took that into consideration before you pummeled him. So what was the phone call about?
Ren: ...
CCR: wha?
Ren: it was Nee-san. She said she might be coming a bit early than she normally does for her winter visit. Make that two months early.
Goku: wait... she's bringing the potsticker recipe, right?
Ren: -_- why would you be concerned with that, monkey?
Goku: but earlier you told CCR -
Ren: I don't know if Mom will let her get it or not at this point. And what's it your concern at this point anyway?
Goku: man... and I was looking forward to trying those, too. Ah well, back to raiding the pickle jar.
CCR: not before I get to it first! Oh wait, I already brushed my teeth... dang it! Just don't eat all of them, okay?
Goku: got it!
Ren: you really trust him with food?
CCR: ... not really. Unless I threatened to eat him if he doesn't save at least one pickle for me.
Goku: WHAT? You cannibal!
CCR: kidding, kidding. ^^; well, better head to bed, or at least get started with that, since Andrew expects me to transfer his laundry to the dryer for him so he has clothes in the morning. Until next time, ja ne~!

Do Youbi: Ehh....
This post likely won't be long because dad's big-time demanding my attention. So, a quick summary of my day will have to do.
Got woken up at 6:30 am and was told that Mom gave Dad permission to take me on the motorcycle (she's lost a relative in a motorcycle accident and working as a CNA doesn't help her already present anti-sentiments), so he took me to breakfast and then afterwards we drove all the way out to Coolidge and then took the long way through Queen Creek to get home. The rest of the time I've been vegging, sleeping, and reading my old posts from a while back. Oh, the memories...
Well, better finish up before Dad hollers my name again. Until next time, ja ne!

Moku Youbi: CRAP!
Translation for first part: Thursday.
Okay, Dad's gonna be here any minute, so I'm gonna try and get this post up quick. I can't necessarily say I did much today since Mom was working, therefore putting our school shopping to a halt, I have to register for my online class, so I can get that last half-credit to graduate... and there are a couple of pics I still need to print out to put on my binder. XD
Ren: -__- you're about to enter your senior year of high school... and you're worried about the images on your binder?!
CCR: well yeah. That's why I get the transparents every time, so I can do that. It kinda is a mode of personalization, I guess. Besides, I'm mostly done anyway.
Ren: ... wait a sec, why's there a pic of me right next to Fullmetal?!
CCR: coincidence if not subtle symbolism, but it doesn't imply anything yaoi.
Ren: don't you need to register for that class before your dad gets home and you're mostly kicked off the computer to devote any attention to him?
CCR: oh, right. Better get going then. Until next time, ja ne!

Getsu Youbi: Geh
I've gotta start posting more often again.
Ren: what? no translation for the day of week this time?
CCR: too lazy.
But yeah, I guess there was nothing interesting that went on yesterday after I got back from church anyhow, unless I were to go into a Breaking Dawn rant. However, since I don't want to spoil anything at this point unless my readers absolutely positively want it spoiled for them, I won't say anything.
Ed: and you would have probably spent the entire day reading it - and would have probably finished it too, if it weren't for the errands that had to be run today, which included your eyeglass appointment.
CCR: yeah, you're probably right about that. But it took me 4 days each to read Twilight and New Moon (Eclipse took a tad longer since I took my time with it), so it's about average for me. And I gotta get the book done before Dad gets home anyway so I can focus everything on him. Mom said that the main reason he was upset, aside from being "pissed at the world," it's basically because I don't know how to act around a dad, I guess. Mom says I've been skiddish around men, even my own grandfather, since she divorced the Prince of Darkness, and I'll admit to an extent she's right. So every time he's here, I gotta retrain myself to be a doting Daddy's Girl as much as possible, I guess... It'll be hard, and will mean I will probably not comment on anything here or post or be in the chatrooms whatsoever so he isn't constantly biting my head off, but hey, Mom pointed out this time he'll only be here for three days before school starts up again. *Internet connection dies* ... DARN IT, I HAD A SOUL EATER EPISODE LOADING! >_< and it was so close to being done, too. *sigh* ah well, refresh the page again, I suppose... I'll probably be up until midnight as it stands now. Or I'll watch it in the morning.
Ren: school's starting in a week, you need time to adjust to waking up early again aside from Sundays for church; watch it in the morning.
CCR: okay... takes away from what time I have to finish Breaking Dawn since I have a dental appointment tomorrow, and likely other back-to-school errands to run aside from that, and -
Ren: now I'm getting tired of it as much as Fullmetal is. Give it a rest; your dad's not gonna kill you for reading a book while in his presence.
CCR: true... meh, alright. *clicks the add post button*

Nichi Youbi: Why am I Covered in Feathers?
Translation for first part: Sunday.
Blame the release of Breaking Dawn for the title this time around... and partially for the lack of posts here in the last few days.
Ren: and half your day yesterday, and the loss of my sanity thanks to you, that stupid dream from three weeks ago, and a stupid notion described in the book.
CCR: -_-; Ren, can we stop discussing that before I leak a spoiler? There are people who might not have read it yet or don't even get the book in their part of the world until a later time. And no one likes spoilers.
Ren: then why did you have Shana spoil upcoming parts of the book for you twice while you two were holed up in another room to read it?
CCR: what? I was curious at why she suddenly had a burning hatred for Sam (which I now share, even though I haven't gotten to that part of the book yet).
Speaking of Twilight-related stuff, my mom finally decided to start reading it [Twilight]! But she has only gotten a few pages into chapter one, and she's starting to say that Bella reminds her of me (or at the very least her circumstances do). But then right after that she said, "But don't you dare move in with Robert (the Prince of Darkness' real first name)." My reply: "Mom, the divorce situation may be the same, but keep in mind at least Charlie's not a deadbeat."
The premiere party Friday night/Saturday morning... was interesting to say the least. Lots of people, only two actual "events" planned (the other was just a big discussion on the books). But I must say, the T-shirt contest was amusing. I wish I knew about it sooner though, since as I was waiting in line (an hour and fifteen minutes after Midnight) to get my copy of the book, we passed the first part of the manga aisle and Shana pulled out one of the FMA artbooks, I got a brilliant idea for a shirt. The front would say "The question should not be Edward or Jacob [for the fangirls at least]..." back: "The real question is... Cullen or Elric?"
Ed: -_- for once today, can you stop talking about stuff Twilight-related? It's SUNDAY for crying out loud! (by the way I could kick Cullen's butt any day)
CCR: *sigh* okay. And the last comment... you keep telling yourself that, no offense.
Ren: she's got you there. Only thing you have that he doesn't is alchemy -
Ed: we're still talking about it...
CCR: okay, sorry. Got off track, I'll give it a rest now. Besides, Andrew should be here any minute with his mom.
Ed:o.O
CCR: ... for church, remember? The new time starts today; 8 am. And it's almost 7. And before when it started at 11:30, Andrew tried to be at the house an hour early.
