   A Short Reprieve
This is going to be a very LONG weekend, seeing as I've got today *and* Monday off, so I'm going to kick back and relax a little. n.n

But I do have 3 projects due in September... I should probably start on them soon. >.>

   Getting Along
I have today off (yatta!), so I decided that an update was in order. n.n

Since school started I've been VERY busy; almost immediately I was BOMBARDED with work (I still have some left).

But other than that, nothing's radically different. *shrugs*

And I think that's it.

   Here We Go...
Today I started my last year of school: the 12th grade, and it's funny cuz I'm a Senior in school and a Senior here on MyO. x)

My schedule goes something like this:

7:20 - English
8:10 - Physics
9:00 - Spanish
9:50 - Geography/Sociology
10:40 - Health/Paternity
11:30 - Math (We still have to determine WHICH type of math the class will be.)

I get out at 12:20 and seeing as I'm in the morning, I can only be on the computer 2 or 3 hours tops each schoolnight. =.=

All I can do now is wait and see if this year will be kind to me. ^^'

   Tick Tock
A couple of days after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out, I went out and bought it for myself (even though I already knew what was going to happen)... WOW, was that book AMAZING.

I read it in 3 days; it was the first HP book I ever read and I really can't describe how I felt while reading it. Yes, a LOT of characters died through the course of it, but when I finished it, I felt sad and excited at the same time.

I wasn't a HP fan before, but I most DEFINITELY am now. I'm planning on buying the rest of the books, and I can't wait until the film version of HP7 comes out so that I can point out all the differences.

And finally: On Monday I receive my school schedule and on Wednesday I go BACK to school; at least this summer was pretty long compared to others.

Warning: Long Post Ahead
Just like the subject says: up next is a post that's filled with my ramblings about Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which I just recently saw. I needed a place to vent and since I don't have anybody that likes HP, this will have to do.

Please remember that all of this is MY PERSONAL OPINION regarding the movie, so if there are any other HP fans reading this: I don't have anything against the Harry Potter series.

And also, if you don't like spoilers, stay away from the quote at the end of the post as well.

- RANT AND SPOILERS UNDER HERE -

Scenes That I Liked:

- The broomstick ride at the beginning of the film: It was pretty amazing, what with the special effects and the music/sound effects.

- Any scene with Harry and Sirius in it: Those scenes were just lovely. I love how Gary Oldman potrayed Sirius Black. I love you, Sirius!

- The fight between Voldemort and Dumbledore at the end: Wow, that battle was REALLY awesome; it showed how powerful Dumbledore is.

Scenes That I Didn't Like:

- Snape's flashback: I really don't like any type of taunting/bullying/ridiculing, no matter who the person is, so the scene that showed a young Severus Snape being made fun of really made me feel bad for him.

- Sirius' death: Oh, I totally HATED the way his death was potrayed. I knew how he was going to die, but the way it was played out in the movie just left me feeling frustrated and annoyed.

(The scenes mentioned above were the scenes that really CAUGHT my attention; the rest were neither great nor awful.)

Next up are my thoughts about some characters I wanted to see more of:

- Nymphadora Tonks: I was expecting SO MUCH from her, but she only appeared 3 times! and spoke only 2 times in the entire film!

- Remus Lupin: I just wanted to see more of him.

- Luna Lovegood: Although she was pretty much spaced-out throughout the film, I liked her and I wanted to know more about her.

- Bellatrix Lestrange: I was also expecting more from her; I wanted to see some crazy Witch action from her.

- Neville Longbottom: I wanted him to just explode and let out all that pent-up anger he had inside.

- Harry Potter: Unlike the other films, this time Harry didn't do a lot of fighting; I wanted to see him unleash his inner greatness.

There are A LOT of differences between the book and the movie; I had imagined the movie quite differently.

Since this was the first HP movie that saw in theatres, it was a weird but enjoyable 2 hours and 18 minutes, minus the previews of course.

   An Update? Really?
Hi-hi! I wanna thank everybody who wished me a happy birthday (14 in all! O.O), and a special thank you to EE2 for the card. I love you, Ed-kun! *glomps*

Let's see what I've done since then: I've painted my room (white, as always), and that's it. The cleaning-out part has yet to be done and probably won't be for a while cuz I'm a procrastinator. *nods*

I've also started exercising, walking to be exact. I wake up every weekday at 5 in the morning, and for that hour my parents and I walk in a nearby park. At least this way I'm not being *totally* lazy, right? ^-^

And this is my last month of Summer Vacation. What? So soon? TT.TT

Yes, today I turn 17 and my mom keeps telling me that it's time for me to "grow up," so to speak. XP

And what have I done since school ended? I've talked to some of my classmates and I have planned to clean out and paint my room (both are *highly* overdue).

It Is Done
I'm finally finish with projects, exams and homework, thus ends the 11th grade for me. I remember that at the beginning I didn't know anybody in my class and now I know them pretty well. I thought that I wouldn't be able to pass 11th with good grades, but I finished on the Honor Roll with Excellence. It wasn't the most memorable year that I've had but I know that I'll remember it fondly.

Now it's onto 12th grade in August...
