Mood:Meh...

Currently Working On: Nothing...

I finally reahed my brithday in one piece!!! Birthday was on Saturday December 1st [not like anyone cares]. My dad surprised me with tickets for the Buzz Bake Sale!! I was so psyched! Me and my dad were going to spend quality father/daughter time at my first concert!!
Okay...so I wake up early and get ready and me and me dad are off to the concert by 8-ish [a.m. people]. We get there and we get a good parking space in the general parking and we are off to stand in line...for two hours [T_T]. It sucked. I stood next to these girls who were almost raping each other for those two hours...[>_>] quite strange.
Finally, after two hours [at Ten] me and my dad go in and walk around. The Sick Puppies were playing..but I don't like them nor any of the bads that were to be performing after them [on that stage anyway...like Paramore (she sounds like Hilary Duff), and uhm...I think Non Point and Against Me]. Anyway...I heard that Three Days Grace was going to be signing their latest CD, One X, so I was pretty intrigued by that. I felt bad because my dad had spent 114.50 cents on the tickets, and making him buy a 20 dollar CD did not calm my conscious. But I guess I was happy to have it. I absolutely love Three Days Grace so I guess I was supporting their living and what not. Small price to pay to them after they introduced me to rock. The signing wasn't until 6 and by the time I got the CD it was only 2 p.m. so I had four hours to kill. So, me and my dad waited a half an hour or so until Silver Sun Pickups went onto the mainstage where me and me dad had seat tickets [not lawn..thank god]. They were okay...they're not one of my favourites but they were okay. The lead singer/guitarist went amongst the crowd and stuff [only one to do so besides Papa Roach I think...(wasn't there when they performed...don't like them)]. 30 mins. later after the SSPs performed, Chevelle came on and they kicked ass [barely]!! You gotta love 'em [^_^]!!I head-banged a bit to them and after they stopped me and my dad kept exploring and heard a local band [who wasn't that great]. In the middle of Chevelle's performance, we got interrupted by a couple who stated that they had the seats we were seating in. Apparently me and my dad were a section off and we ended up moving [but we got a better view hahahaha] We got some lunch and I was forced to eat...meat by my dad[>_<]. I was so close to reaching my vegetarian state but...grr. My dad asked me if I wanted to see Coheed and Cambria but I told him "no" since, yet again, it was another band I didn't like. Don't get me wrong, their music = awesome but voice = annoying. So I decided to go get a head start on the Three Days Grace signing. luckily they had just begun the pre-pre line up for it so I got to be one of the first 10 people in line [yay].
I stood there for two hours seeing the Used then Rise Against [whooohoo!!!] being interviewed. As I did that, I talked to my newly found friend Josh. He was a huge Three Days Grace fan like me and I was so happy to talk to someone while I waited in line [I hope I didn't annoy him]. We almost fainted when we saw Three Days Grace coming onto the mini-set to be interviewed by the Buzz. It was 6 p.m. by the time me and Josh started to move forward to get Three Days Grace's autographs. We were freaking out hoping that we wouldn't look like dorks in front of them...unfortunately I did. I actually semi-bowed down to them [them being Adam and Brad] and told them that I was grateful to them for they introduced me to rock...man what a dork [>_<] Brad just smiled at me and Adam I think almost laughed...meh. But I shook Brad's hand and I didn't even freak out!! I waited for Josh to finish getting his autographs and we walked half-way back to the amphitheater. We then said our good byes and blah..blah..blah.
My dad was waiting for me at our seats and the Used was about to come on. Man! They fucken rocked the stage!! They are much better live [I didn't really like them before but after hearing them...shite...]. It was awkward though because the lead singer told the audience to stick their middle fingers up and scream "fuck". I was with my dad, so I did the super-finger instead [thank you Dane Cook!].
After the Used came Rise Against! God how I love them [but not as much as Three Days Grace]. They rocked too but I liked the Used better [the Used had a little bit more energy]. However their songs were way better than the Used's songs so it balanced it out! I was head banging and jumping up and down like maniac! But I was in heaven when Three Days Grace came. HOLY CRAP!!! THEY WERE FUCKING AMAZING AND AWESOME AND....THERE ARE NO WORDS TO DESCRIBE IT!!! They played all my favourite songs and I sang to all of them with all my heart [and lung capacity]. They are my anthems and always will be! Unfortunately, they only played for about 40 minutes which sucked but those 40 minutes were amazing! Almost like heaven on earth! After that, me and my dad left.

I don't think I had ever been happier in my life.
