Great Opportunity

What is that look in your eyes
It seems like only yesterday
The day you came to my life
What have I done to deserve you

I don't deserve you
Your kindness, your time
My immaturity has been a bane
Yet you accept me

I may cause nonsense
Different kinds of trouble
Do some mischief
Yet you accept me

God has a reason for putting you in my life
To help me in daily struggles
To show me the way of good.
That is why you accepted me

Our friendship is everlasting
Through thick and thin
Love's presence evershowing
In all our many doings

I know how fortunate I am
To know you, a person who is
Full of love and purity
I thank God for that opportunity

Your love gave me strength
Your time gave me hope
