Atonement

You know I'm away for five weeks and I get back and my town looks like it's been bombed... This is what happens when I leave the country, it falls apart. Okay, not really, but the sea front does look like it has being bombed and I'm not exagerating. Some movie company is preparing to film some part of a film, probably based on the Ian McEwan book by the same name Atonement. Apparently staring Kira Knightly and based around WW2 I think. My beach apparently looks exactly like Dunkirk in France which got bombed during the war and it has all the industrial works that they want in the background. Sounds really cool and my dad is gonna be an extra in it which is awsome. I would have gone for it but they're mainly looking for male extras so I figure there's no chance. And I can't be bothered, I'm sure dad will take lots of photos anyways.

Hmmm other news... ah not too good really, my boyfriend had been doing some thinking when i was away... not good... and decided it wasn't working.. as I said, not good... really upset me at first but I guess I new it wasn't working also. I definatly liked him more than he liked me. So I'm single again, lets see if this lasts longer than a week and a half lol I don't know what it is with me, I always feel like I need someone there with me, and if I like someone I have, so far, always got them. This is probably a bad thing as I haven't been single in ages and now I feel all dependant >_< which isn't good for someone who is nearly 20. But anyways, we are going to remain friends and he is going to reformat my computer when he gets back to York and sort out the woreless connection in my house (hehehe it pays to have geeky friends *evil cackle*)

Anyways, funny Greece stories... Well we had some crazy people working there. One of the guys on the layout team (Mike) was more afraid of cicadas than me. And they are everywhere in Greece and the groves that we were walking were very low so the cicadas were all around you all day making that horrible rattling noise. (just to say that I had never heard of these bugs in my entire life and to think that everyday these bastards who are 10 times bigger than any insect in the UK, dive bombed me and then pissed on me everyday) The last few days I was helping him layout the grids for the fieldwalking and a load of the stakes broke so we decided to use them as weapons against the evil cicadas. Man that was fun I recomend cicada wacking for the whole family to avenge the month of them flying into me and screaming in my ear.

Okay, since the friends list is down I can again only visit people who have visited me so when it's up I shall hopefully get around more people.
