Worst day of my life ... =/

Occupation: Student: I've now graduated from Archaeology and have taken up Art History at postgraduate level (because I can...and have) I'm currently working on getting myself onto a Phd course and stay a student forever! Oh yeah and I'm still in York (UK) i love this place
achievements: Graduating, keeping a boyfriend for over a month (a year now infact!)
Hobbies: going to the pub with friends (I have become a fan of real ale! O_o) Fencing (when I have time) drawing, drinking tea (oh god the gloriousness of tea)

Okay well as you've figured I didn't do as well as I'd hoped, in fact, i really messed up. I got BBCC so Glasgow turned me down >_< so I've spent all day crying and calling up universities begging for any free spaces. So my head hurts from panicing and crying a lot.

However all is not lost. I've got afew offers, two in particular stand out, one from Aberdeen in Scotland, they've offered me a place for English which is what I wanted and they've said I can skip the first year. And York University (which is up there with Oxford and Cambridge, and better than Glasgow) have given me a place for Archeaology, which is really good although wasn't my first choice subject.

Sooo.... I'm tied between doing English miles away, at a not so good Uni and going to do Archeaology at a famous Uni... I need to decide by tomorrow when I fill in the form >_< I'm edging towards York at the moment, it's closer, a friend os going there, I know the place really well, it's cosmopolitan and it's been invaded by the Romans, the Vikings and god knows who else so there's lots of finds round there... but Aberdeen is in "bonny Scotland" and it's English... but I can read without doing English and I can go all over the world if i go to york...

Well you can see how stuck I am, I'll have to sleep on it, I don't know if I'll get round your sites I'm really in shock at the moment and constantly bursting out into tears so maybe tomorrow... i'll see how I'm feeling. I just want to thank you all so much for your support, reading through your comments made me smile so thanks ^_^
