How's it going everybody?
I had an OK day today. Hard to concentrate, and I got assigned my first real amount of homework, but thems the breaks.
I could still really use your thoughts and prayers, though. Is that OK with you?
I saw some of the aftermath of Katrina today (We have an hour and a half of homeroom each day for the first 5 days, and they let us watch the news on the class TV at that time). Man, it's bad down there. Even the Super-Dome was damaged.
I pulled some quick images off of a href="http://www.cnn.com/">CNN.com that show some of the damage:
A collapsed brick building that fell on a nearby parked car.
Submerged cars in a parking-lot.
People seeking shelter on a roof-top.
There are at least 56 confirmed deaths so far, many more are injured, there are 40,000 homes under water and 65,000 homes without power. Needless to say, I need to ask you guys to pray for everyone involved. OK?
