TGIFriday..............
Yay! It's Friday! The weeks are becoming too short. Or...it's the time in my life where all you can see are the years passing by. Reminds me of a song...Anyway, the weekend is coming.

Thanks for the comments. I was pretty sure of none, but you always surprise me somehow.

Halloween was pretty cool. Nothing great happened, but I'm still glad some people went trick-or-treating. I stayed home and watched my younger brother hand out candy. It was fun actually because I was in my black cloak when the kids came to trick-or-treat at our door. I probably looked pretty strange to them. Heh...too bad. Now we'll have to wait another year before Halloween comes again.

BTW I took a test in history class on Halloween. I took it and checked over my answers hoping for the best. Actually, I guessed on about a quarter of the questions. The next day I was freaking out about the results of the test because the unit was pretty difficult and because our teacher corrects the test in time to give us our results the next day. He wrote the scores on the board. The highest score was 100%, but only one person had that score. A few others got A's, about 5 got B's, 5 got C's, about 3 get D's and 10 people failed the test. It was pretty scary. Now I was freaking out even more. I know I took a lot of chances on a lot of questions, and I know I'm not very lucky, so I was so worried I had gotten an F. When I got my test back, I was pretty relieved. My score was...decent. I'm just so glad I wasn't one who failed. What I don't understand though was the fact that I got so many right and the ones I was guessing on I got right too. Anyway, I was just so mad last time I took a test in history because it wasn't what I was expecting. I'm glad I got a better grade this time. Do you have any weird experiences like this?

Friday! Time for answers and questions.

Answers:
What are two definitions for kamikaze?
Divine Wind and suicide plane (during WWII)

Did ninjas and samurai really exist?
Yes

Who was the "real" last samurai?
Takamori Saigo

Who was both a samurai and ninja?
Hattori Hanzo

What was more fearful to samurai, a ninja's shuriken or a ninja-to?
Shuriken because the blades were dirty and an infection was one of the worst experiences a samurai could have. It could also be their last.

Friday Qs
What event/holiday did Sunako (from The Wallflower) miss when she was in her coffin?
Why does Sunako like Valentine's day?
What happened during your Halloween?

Another day....
Thanks for the comments. Yeah, strange as it was somehow I won the contest. I'm guessing it's because there weren't that many entries anyway. BTW I did get rewarded with a borders gift card for $25. I lost $5, but gained $25. It is a win-win situation. Unfortunately, I never go to Borders, so I can't use it. I can always give it away or something.

Sorry for not posting on Friday. My sibs were on the computer and I think myO was down too. I'll post the answers this Friday. I'll try my best to get on on Friday.

Oh, I just remembered that tomorrow is gonna be halloween! It's a week after my b-day. BTW for my b-day, my parents decided to celebrate it along with the hmong new year, so I celebrated it this weekend. I was nervous because usually the guys of the family give me some advice for turning another year older and I just sit and listen to it before the b-day song and blowing out the candles. This is why I don't like parties. My cake was all white except for the blue lettering, so I used the blue pastry decorating spray and sprayed the edges of the cake. I have to say that I didn't think it was too bad. We also had egg rolls and some other food.

Presents! I got some presents too. My sis gave me presents the week before and you already know about them. My sis-in-law got me deodorant and breath mints, chocolate, white ink, and a cd player. There were some other stuff too, but I don't remember. The cd player is pretty cool though. the battery compartment is inside the cd player, and it has a remote control. The remote control is attached to it, but I can use it instead of touching the buttons on the cd player, so it's pretty cool. Also, the cd player plays cds, mp3s, and FM Radio. It's awesome.

Halloween EVe! That's today. Halloween is tomorrow, right? I don't know if I'm gonna dress up, but if I am I'm gonna wear my black emo cloak. It's so awesome. BTW I have a test tomorrow in History. I don't mind though. I know the stuff pretty well and my team won the review game we played today. Also, we won the last review game too. Maybe it's cause of me? Jk. I did provide a lot of the answers though. I'm hoping on an A at least. This is completely off topic, but my history teacher has this awesome halloween toy that is so awesome. It's like a witch or scary raggedy thing with long white scraggly hair sitting on a halloween-y chair and when you hit a button or snap your fingers or something it laughs and evil laugh and it's so awesome. I want it so bad. Too bad there's no Halloween shopping. Only christmas shopping. *sigh* Halloween is the only holiday I celebrate really.

It's getting kinda long. I'll stop here for today. I'll see ya'll later.

My b-day eve!!!!!!!!
Yep, it is my b-day eve. I'm excited. Don't know why. I'm usually not. I'm not expecting anything...maybe I'm just feeling good right now. I'm weird.

My sis already got me my b-day present. It's also Quinghe's b-day tomorrow. Ya'll don't need to know who Quinghe is. Just an important friend...I guess.
BTw my sis got me some yarn for knitting, pants that I love, and something else I'm not going to tell you, but girls probably have these.

It's testing week at school. It's only for the sophopmores, so i don't gotta go to school 'til 10:30 am. It's three hours later. I could sleep in if I wanted, but i don't have a ride, so I gotta take the bus. I don't mind. I like going early. Do stuff with your friends for three hours before school starts. It's Tues-Fri. This morning I drew a little bit and then played cards. It was fun, but my friends can be kinda loud. They're such cool people. REally energetic and all. I gotta do some stuff though. It's gonna get boring soon.

BTW I found out something yesterday. My sis and I bet on winning the reading poster contest. She said I won. My pic was up with my name and it said Frosh along with it. I thought she was lying, so i bet $5 on it. She probably had a good lunch. Turns out I did win the contest. It was so weird because I've never won anything before, especially not a contest. I always try not to win because ...I don't really care? It's pretty sweet though. Dunno if i get prizes or nothing, but it don't really matter to me.

I also got a pretty good grade on the science project I worked on. It was like a 94%, but it's still an A, so that works for me. I was expecting like a C- or something.

Gotta go soon. Not much homework this week. It'll be pretty sweet...I'm hoping.

(Aggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! I need a digital camera or a scanner that works!!!!!!!!!!)

Have a good week. (don't forget to check Fri. for the answers to the answers)

TGIF...
IT's friday! Good to be home from school, but I'm afraid of the weekend. I'm sure it'll be okay...yeah. I don't know if anything's happening, but I guess I can wait for the news.

Tough week this week. Other than having to finish the science project with my partner, I had a really bad fever on Tuesday night. Tuesday I went on a field trip to the landfill. It was cold that day and we went outside for almost an hour. Maybe I caught something. I'm not coughing or anything like that. I just had a really dizzy head and had a really bad fever. How can you tell? Since my family complains about me having really pale skin, you can tell if my cheeks are pink. They're usually only pink if I've been in the cold or if I'm having a fever.
The part that sucked the most was Tuesday night. I felt like I had to use the bathroom for #2 all night long, so I was afraid to fall asleep. I also got really cold, so I got another blanket on top of my first one. It felt nice and warm at first, but then it got too hot. It felt really hot, so I took the blankets off of me, but then it was too cold, then I covered myself again. Ah...it was so annoying. I only got like 5-6 hours of sleep that night. It sucked so bad. The next day at school, I felt dizzy and couldn't concentrate on anything. I came home with a fever and my mom drugged me. (Just kidding) She gave me medicine for my head and my stomach. I probably took two different kinds medicines for my head because nothing was working. Thursday morning felt better. Today I feel even better than either of the last two days, so all feels well right now.

BTW Thanks for the comment. As far as my poster goes, I don't think I won. I mean, I've seen some other posters that are more genius than mine. Seriously. There's always something better. I didn't really plan to win, but I love being able to do good art for a project when I can and have enough time. Art is just...so fun. The presentation...well, I don't know. Science...I don't know yet. I can wait. I guess when the weekend is here, I don't really care. Isn't that what the weekend is for? Taking a break from school...right?
Ten-ten...yeah, that means dot-dot, right? The circle would be...un, maru? I think... Anyway, Japanese class is my favorite class. It's so fun. We're gonna do a fund raiser soon. It's for the Japanese class and club. We're gonna watch the Japanese version of Pulse in the club. I wanna see it, but I'm not in the club. Hmm....I've seen the American version. I kinda liked it. I thought it was kind of similar to something. Now that I think about it, it's similar to The Ring because of the color of the movie. It's all blue and dark and creepy. Anyway, it's gonna be fun.

I don't wanna post much more today. It's too long. I wanna visit some sites too. It's just too bad some people only come to answer my Friday Qs. That's why I made some questions pertaining to my posts...hahaha, I know it's evil. Anyway, it's Friday.

Answers:
Which anime character is in my reading poster?
(Hint: it was in my last post)
Gaara

Which characters in my fan art were drawn in color? (Hint: look in my fan art)
Naruto and Naruko

What is the total number of things in my portfolio? (Hint: go to my portfolio)
23

Friday Qs
What are two definitions for kamikaze?
Did ninjas and samurai really exist?
Who was the "real" last samurai?
Who was both a samurai and ninja?
What was more fearful to samurai, a ninja's shuriken or a ninja-to?

Just posting....
Thanks for the comments. The baby think it over project is a plastic baby with a computer thing inside of it which has a list of cries and what kind of care is needed for it. For ex: if the baby cries and you put the computerized bottle to the mouth and it stops crying and makes a sucking sound, it means that the care needed was feeding it. There's also diaper changing and rocking. Sometimes it's just fussy and can cry for over 45 minutes. There's also a head on the baby that if it's dropped it'll start crying. You're supposed to support the head of the baby. If you drop the head 5 times or more, then you fail the project in health class. That's what the baby think it over was about.

I haven't got my poster back yet, so I'll have to wait it out. I hope I do get it back, but contests never return things anyway, so I can get ready to not receive it.
BTW I'm going to pick up a lot of stuff on Saturday. Hikaru no Go, The Wallflower, and some other stuff.

Okay, so I presented my science project in class today with my partner. She did a pretty good job of it, but I stuttered and did so bad. I know, I suck at speeches and stuff. It was on nuclear stuff. What was I supposed to say? It's kind of confusing. I still don't know exactly how it works. I knew the material pretty well, but as soon as I got up there I forgot it all. Anyway, I hope I still get a good grade. I worked hard on the researching part of the project and putting it together on the tri-fold and even making the little model out of play-doh of a cooling tower. Anyway, my partner worked on it too. I hope we get a good grade.

Yesterday was "n" day in Japanese class. It's the day we celebrate learning all of the hiragana. I thought there were some characters we didn't cover, but today I found out why. If we want to get "go" we need to add Diacritic marks to "ko". Diacritic marks look kind of like quotation marks, but they are in the top right corner of the character and only look like this. (ex: character") I love Japanese class.

There was other stuff that happened today that wasn't very significant, so I won't need to tell you guys anything else.

Tomorrow's Friday, so I'll post tomorrow if I can.

Friday again...
Thanks for the comments. I don't think I can get to any of your pages today. I'm really sorry. I'll put up my poster when I get it back...if I do get it back.

BTW I got yesterday and today off from school. Teacher's convention stuff. It's not always great though. I get to stay home, but I feel like I'm getting lazy again. That's when i feel like working, so I don't really mind if my mom yells at me for being too lazy. I really think I am lazy. Seriously. I'm hardly doing any of my chores anymore since high school's started. This ain't good.

I forgot to tell you that last week, my brother brought home a baby think it over baby. What makes it funny is that so many people came over to our house for multiple reasons. I remember the experience. It was annoying. (Maybe I shouldn't have kids. haha) Anyway, it was interesting to watch my younger bro have to experience it too.

There's not much going on except for homework and a project I'm working on in science. It's about nuclear power plants and how the energy is gathered and used. It's pretty interesting. I'm working with a partner on it. Other groups got stuff like coal power plants or wind energy or something like that. We're doing these projects because we're in the climate unit. Also, global warming has a part in it too. Maybe I should spend less time on the computer?...

That's all for today.

TGIF....already?
Thanks for the comments. I'm at my usual 5 comments. I found out that the people at my house were there for a traditional practice thing. You don't really need to know about it. I hid in my room most of the time anyway. My weekend actually wasn't so bad. It wasn't great either, but I guess it's better than some other weekends. Another weekend is coming up. I finished most of my homework, so I just need to study for some of my quizzes next week. Seriously, I NEED to study. I'm dull in some of classes.

Today...is Friday. Stuff happened at school and other stuff happened here and there. Nothing particularly interesting. I handed in my reading poster today. I went a totally different direction with it. It has The Great Escape written on it in big red letters with a 3-D effect. In the middle is Gaara and he's standing in front of a door. It's a two door doorway. One door is closed, but the other is slightly opened and it's shining a bright light. I thought it was good enough to hand in, but then I saw one that was awesome. It used about the same colors as mine (red, yellow, black), but it seemed much more genius.

There is a book I'm reading though.
It's called Detour for Emmy. It's about a 15 year old freshman girl who is just starting high school and somehow gets a boyfriend and starts you-know with him. It eventually gets her pregnant and now she needs to tell him, but when she does he denies that it could ever happen since they were always careful. That's about as far as I am so far. It's a well-written book, but I've skipped so many pages because of the sex scenes and crap.

It's Friday, so I guess I should do something. The week sure went by fast, didn't it? BTW I forgot to post some of the answers.

The weekend...
Thanks for the comments. Did I mention the book? The book I was reading was called Big Mouth and Ugly Girl. BTW The Number 23 was awesome. It would be weird if your birthday or someone you know has a b-day on 23.

I'm posting from the library today. I'll probably have time to visit some of your sites. I'm sorry if I can't get to them.

My day hasn't been so good. A whole bunch of people were at my house this morning for...something. I don't know what the heck it was. I was scared to get breakfast because I just didn't feel like facing people. I got breakfast on the 16th time or so when I actually tried. I'm suddenly getting scared of people. Paranoia? I don't know. I can still face people at school or the library, but I can't face my own family members? I don't know. It's crazy! ANd I'm seriously not getting along well with one member of my family because ...I find her so pathetic or the other way around.

Anyway, I hope to pick up my items soon. And I hope I can have a weekend where I don't have to live in fear because I've been living in fear ever since...who knows when. This sucks and I don't know why. *sigh*

Okay, that's all for today. I'll post another day.

TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!..........................
It's Friday! I feel like I should do something on Friday. What's better is that I don't have any homework. Yay! It's because of homecoming. Ugh! I don't like homecoming week because it's so...crazy. I guess I find it kinda stupid, but that's because I don't have much school spirit. ANyway, I'll probably have to "do" stuff this weekend since I got no homework to do. Oh, well!

Thanks for the comments. Yes, high school still sucks, but it's not so bad after a while. It might be just me, but after a while of school, I go numb (sorta mentally like not caring) and can go through school just fine. It's like it doesn't really matter what's happening as long as you're breathing and ...stuff...oops! I started rambling off into the unknown again, huh? Sorry.

As for the poster, I still haven't decided yet, but that idea of the perverted hermit with a make out paradise book doesn't seem too bad. I just don't know how I'd draw it. (I don't think I can draw him either. I can only draw a few Naruto characters. I can't draw Sasuke either.) I actually came up with some ideas. One is of anime characters who don't usually read reading, and RARE is written towards the bottom. (One character I tried out was Hanajima from Fruits Basket.) I also tried the "Full Picture" idea. It's where one idea is "highlighted" in some way, and then you look out of the box and you see someone actually reading instead. BTW it doesn't have to promote only reading. It can also promote the library.

BTW there's a book I've been reading. I actually started on Wednesday and finished yesterday. It was pretty good. It wasn't like a book that would win an award or anything, but it was fun to read. I was hooked from the beginning.

To sum it up I'll tell you what it was mainly about. A high school boy makes a joke that some people take seriously and report to the principal. These detectives come and ask him about "blowing up the school". Yes, it was a bomb scare. He denies that he seriously desired to bomb the school, which is true, but no one believes him except for one girl who is a tough, but cool athlete. She knows what he joked about, so she finally convinces the principle that he's innocent and after a lot of stuff, he is no longer "guilty". He still is known as the boy who tried to blow up the school, although it never was true. He's left without a friend and the girl that helped him avoids him too. He starts getting pretty emo (I'd say). (In fact, he wrote a story about lethal injection.) If you want to find out more, read the book. It was pretty good though.
BTW I'm picking up a novel called Define Normal. It's really good, I heard. I hope so. Also, Platinum Garden v.1 and Shaolin Soccer. I've been wanting to see it, but I've never had the chance. I heard it's really funny.

I should start a Friday something. It's because most Fridays, I think I'm going to be posting. Does that sound like a good idea? Please let me know.

Friday Qs
Who starred in "The Number 23"?
What is the square root of 529?
What is the total sum of your name?
(Hint: A=1, B=2, C=3, etc.)

Have a good weekend.

Today sucked...no it was okay...I guess...normal day....
I'm feeling depressed. It must be because I'm in high school. I'm sure the next day I'll be happier or something. I'm usually like that. (Bipolar? Nah...) Or maybe by next week. Anyway, I just really hate riding the bus. It's so...crowded and ...annoying. I actually loved riding the bus. It sucks that I can't do that no more cause of ...high school. I'd rather...uh, not go to school? or...nope that's about it. I don't like riding in the car, and I don't want to walk 3 miles to go to school. Plus, I'm so slow at walking, I'd arrive late all the time. Yeah, normal day then.

Thanks for the comments. I do read them all. Anyway, about the poster...I was thinking I might do a yugioh poster instead. You know...the It's time to R-R-REad!!! thing. I don't really want to though. Another reason I don't want to do the kakashi one anymore is because I can't draw him. I just naturally suck at drawing kakashi. If you take a look at my fan art, you won't find him there. Everytime I tried to draw him, it turned out really bad, so I threw it away. I need some ideas. Oh, it has to promote reading. I just don't know what I should do. I don't plan to win exactly, but I want to give it a try, you know?

Nothing else then. Later.
