VV?
I know that everyone and their dog is talking/posting about the new The Otaku: Version Vibrant, but I feel that it needs to be spoken about. I really want to hear all of your opinions of the new Otaku.

Personally, I really quite like the new layout. It's a lot sleeker then the previous Layout, and it is my opinion that the colors were chosen a lot better, making them less jarring to the eyes. Although it took me a short while to get used to some of the navigation (namely, that surrounding the backroom), ones you know what you're doing, its a lot smoother and the option's transitions were done very well. One thing I wish they had done, is make it when you're editing your World, you don't have to select which World to edit when you change to another World editing option. But all in all, I think that Adam did a wonderful job with the Version Vibrant. He really lived up to my expectations with the new site. He deserves a bit pat on the back, and a long vacation, though it is impossible with finding all the bugs. Well Done Adam.

In other news:

  • When I update next, I will inform you as to whats happening in RL and more crap like that.

  • I have made a new World, but it will be for things related to fandom

  • I am in accordance with Jigglyness; the temporary comment boxes are really ugly.

My arm hurts
I don't know why it does. I think my arm's cramping, which really hurts (actually, its more just uncomfortable and annoying than hurtful). Anyway. I'm quite tired too, and I. Don't. Know. Why. I woke up this morning and just hit the snooze button instead of getting up and going to school. I did go to school, but I was a few minutes late. It shows how exciting my life is that I'm telling you about my morning routine.

Rodney's sitting next to me telling me entertaining South Park episodes. Just told me about some hockey one, which sounds horrible. Seriously, I never get shows like that. But its fun listening to Rodney tell about them. He's a great kid *hugs him*.

Our 3D team is working on our team project, A short animation about something of our choosing. We're doing a story about a killer Couch. It kinda started out as an LOL kinda suggestion, and it turns out that it is what we are doing for our project. I modeled the Main guy, which was not as hard as it could have been, but no walk in the park. Its easier than Blender, though... So yeah, I'll show you some of the stuff we do after its done. I still need to work on my Quarter Project as well, but I'm doing that on paper first. If I ever get around to it *cough*.

I'm back on the piano for 2 hours a day! I'm so happy(ish)! It really seems less of a hassle when I only have 2 hours to do. It was very stressful when there was 4 hours that my mother expected of me. She talked to some lady in my aunt's neighborhood who's son took from my teacher, and she said that he only practiced 1 hour a day, and he still got the scholarship. So, she said that 2 hours was enough while getting ready for scholarships, then it can go back to 1 hour. I'm SO relieved. My life does seem to be kinda easy now, especially because I don't have any homework and my classes at school are fun, but easy. The only thing I don't really like is Teaching Piano, but I really do like the money (even though its not as much as if I had a normal Job. But then again, I really only teach 2 hours a week).

I had bester go now, our break time in MM is over, so I need to get back with the group. Ta~!

SkillsUSA
So, things these past two days (actually... mostly only Saturday) were pretty busy. I had SkillsUSA on Saturday, where I was competing in the Job Interview section. There were only three people there, even though more than that were due to show up. I took first! Which, unfortunately, means that I need to go onto state now. My buddies in 3D animation and in Video also got first in their sections, so they're going to state with me. It was fun and junk, especially because I met another Anime fan up there! I was wandering around, doing nothing in particular, when I looked over and saw a chick reading a manga. Then, upon further investigation (see: Staring), I noticed one of the characters was Axel. So, I went over and talked to her, and found out that yes, there are Yaoi fans in my area (which was surprising, because everyone here is uber religious and Gays=Bad). So, we talked about Fanfiction for a bit, then when it was time to go, we exchanged E-mail addresses and she gave me her LJ and Deviantart.

Other than that, The Weekend was Boring. Sundays are always sleepy, and I nap as much as I can. And... I gots to go now. Ta!

Holy Resurection, Batman!
So guess what guys? I'm back from the dead and have decided to once again post the many things that are going on in my life. Kinda. I am currently in the second semester of my school year, and am loving the classes that I have. My Periods are as follows:
Per 1 - Astronomy. I have always been pretty interested in the stars, and the constellations, and I'm excited to take this class. The class itself has a few really fun people I know from previous classes, and the teacher is amazingly funny. I had him for physics, and he's great.
Per 2 - Commercial Art. I took an art class before and had the same teacher, whom I love. She's fresh outta college and really the perfect Art Teacher. I wanted to take Commercial Art initially, and only did the other class for a filler. We learn Airbrushing, logos, and make a T-shirt in this class.
Per 3&4 - Still Tech Center with my beloved Rodney ~ ♥.
Per 5Shakespeare. I love Shakespeare. The class is one that all we really do is read, watch, and discuss Shakespeare, with little to know assignments and work like that. The teacher I have also had before, and he's Funny as heck. I have a few friends in this class, so I'm really excited (I also get English credit!)
Per 6 - Electronics. This class is actually the class that I was least excited for. My dad had taken an electronics class when he was in high school and thought that I would like it, since we usually like the same things. I signed up for it, then in physics of that year, we went over some electronics stuff, and I didn't really have that much fun. The class has turned out to be really good, because the teacher is hilarious and I have a few people I know in that class. It is also easy as pie so far - and I get college credit to boot!
Per 7&8 - Tech Center As well. We recently got a few tablets and CS3 (which, sadly, hasn't been imaged onto my computer yet...), and I'm having a blast learning what the tablet can do an playing around with it.

Piano... hasn't been going the best. I was quite sick this past week, so I wasn't able to touch the piano because anything more than doing nothing wore me out. I have until the 21st - the scholarship day - to get my to pieces really good, so I have to work really hard from now on.

Other than that, things are good. I have a leadership competition thingy tomorrow, where I'm competing in the Job Interview section. I'm not excited, and was kinda suckered into doing the entire thing, but it should be alright. The only thing bugging me about it was that its just another stressful thing on top of everything.

I betseter get back to work. Rod's glaring at me because I'm not paying attention to him *laughs*. Over and out!

Not dead. Promise.
Once again, I apologize profusely for not updating until now. I can't really say that its because I've been busy, but more because I've been side-tracked with doing other things, and just haven't thought to update. Sorry.

So, school started on Monday. I'm SO FREAKING HAPPY. I adore school, and I'm up at tech again. With Rodney, who finally got in the permission slip. The procrastinator *warning: hypocrisy*. My teacher calls me year: *my name*, because I'm the only third year ever. My other classes are Aerobics, which is amazing and I love, even though we've only worked out once so far (today); Math 1060 (trig), which should be a lot easier then 1050, which wasn't that hard 'cause I'm good at math; Drawing 1, which was really a substitute class, but should be fun and I'm going to be drawing so much this year; and the last one this semester is Sci-Fi/Fantasy Literature. That class gives me English credit, and is the first one at the school/district yet. I'm really excited for that one. All my classes ('cept tech) changes next semester, but I'll get to those next semester.

In other news, Braden, the guy I had a crush on last year, Got a tattoo. I haven't seen it in person, but he sent me a pic on my phone of it, and its pretty cool. Mark, the guy who had a crush on me, is going to Oregon for school. Which makes me sad, because he'll be pretty far away. Rodney is here with me, and I have NO idea what happened to Liam. Jake, the other guy who I was talking about and to, got a little weird, so I haven't talked to him for months. He started asking me my fetishes and other weird/personal things like that and I was like 'um.. no' and started not answering his calls. Although, I really wasn't there when he called anyway.

Family life has been... interesting. Mother dearest has kinda been annoying, and the family has been really tense. Which is one big reason why I was so excited for school start: to get outta the house. We're actually going down to my cousins cabin and riding horses this weekend, which I'm excited for. She has this one horse, Disco, who I'm in love with, and she's bringing him down! *dances*

Don't know when I'll update next, so don't really expect anything. Ta~.

I'm not dead yet.
Hallo people. It seems like forever since I last posted. *checks* Holy freak! Its been over a month! I'm so sorry. A lot has happened since I've updated.

One big thing is that school's over! Its been such a depressing thing for me! I haven't really been in touch with most of the guys, although its really because they haven't texted me back. ;_;. One guy, Jake, did call me a few days ago and got me to sign up for a game called Second Life It seems like a really fun game, but I haven't really gotten into it yet. And I've been busy playing ToS and reading yaoi Fanfiction. But yeah, Jake called and made fun of my sister's name we joked around a lot. We talked about noodles. He's a pretty funny person.

Thing number two is that my friend and I are back to normal. I went over to her to ask her if we could talk about what happened, but she needed to do her homework, and we joked around a bit. THings went back to normal from there. I asked her if she was ever going to talk to me about what happened, and she didn't want to. I have noticed that it seems like she's annoyed with me at times, but its mostly just like before.

Last really big thing that I can think of is that WE GOT A KITTY!!!! She's SO CUTE! I was actually surprised that my parents went along with it. My sister had actually threatened for a week to run away if they didn't get her a kitty. That was a while ago. Then I saw a kitty on Saturday, and on Monday (memorial day), we sent in the adoption papers and they got back with us that day and we brought her home. My dad actually said that of all the kids, he would probably give in to me the most. ^_^ I'm spoiled. Here's a pic of Meeka:

And I just started working on a new layout! I hope it will be done soon!

Edit: SCALES ARE GOING TO BE THE DEATH OF ME!!!! *Spasm*

I'm SOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I'm so sorry that I haven't updated for such a long time. Its been over a month, again! Gosh darn it, I really need to get onto a schedule. Seriously... Maybe I'll start writing down whats happened during the day, then update at 10, which is when MyO restarts where I am. GAH!

M'kay, So I'm going to start with telling what happened on my birthday and shtuff. It was pretty darn fun, I must say. I was in a good mood for pretty much all day, and tech was grand. Braden (the guy I was previously calling Neo, but I decided just to go with his name, because he'd know it was him anyway) Dearest actually talked a lot to me, and I was able to stay after school with him for about an hour, and it was fun even though I had a headach. It kinda got worse when I went home, because my mom has this habit of NAGGING like ther is no tomorrow. But all in all, it was pretty fun. OH! My friend Y-chan and I had a big adventure as well. She invited me to go to Barnes and Noble with her, kinda as a birthday get-away-from-family thing, and while we were driving she saw something in the road. It looked like a paper bag, so we didn't think much when we just drove over it. It turned out, that it wasn't a bag, but a piece of the curb. We heard some weird noise, and thought that it wasn't anything serious, so we kept driving. I was saying something, then quickly shut up because I heard another weird noise, and when she asked if it was probably bad, I said yeah, and we pulled over near Yukina123's house and got outa the car just to find out that she totally killed two of the tires. We had a good laugh, the she called her mom. When we were waiting, I saw these two cute dogs running around outside, so i opened the door to say Hi to them. And the jumped in the car. My friend and I stared at each other and the dogs like "WTF?" then started laughing again when they ran out. We eventually got a ride back to my house, then I drove over to the Barnes and Noble, and she had me pick out a book that she could buy for my birthday. I got Nightlife by Rob Thuman, and if you havent read it, by george go do so. Its a pretty darn good book, I thought. Kinda a darker fantasy about modern day monsters. Its uber good, with hot guys and absolutly beautiful non-incest brotherly love. Its SO cute. And the action scenes are nummy, as well.

So besides that and my wonderful tech friends, life has been.. interesting. I had a piano competition a few weeks ago, and that stressed me out like none other. My friend was having a birthday party the day before, and when my friends called to try to get me to come over, I said that I was stressed and tired and that day wasn't good. I also do this thing when if people keep asking I dig in my heals and don't say anything. My friend eventually hung up, and I went to bed. The piano competition went well enough; I had a minor panic attack because I forgot one piece of music and they don't let you play with out it, but we were able to borrow a copy from the library downstairs. The entire thing I think helped with my stress, because I felt more relaxed when I played. I got a superior (which is the highest score), and was fine until I found out that my teacher was absolutly Furious. It wasn't really at me, but I tend to beat myself up about little things that my have been my fault, so I was crying on the way home, and did everything I could once I got home to get my mind off it.

The Sunday was mostly uneventful, but then on Monday, things fell appart again. I went to school, and sat across from Y-chan. She totally ignored me, but I didn't think much of it because she's often like that in the mornings. But then, two of my other friends came over and she started talking to them really excitedly. Needless to say, some alarms went off in my head that something had to be up. I texted my friend and found out that she was, in fact, mad at me, and I should talk to her. I also found out that it was Y-chan who had the phone and was texting me. I spent some of that day crying because of it, but it wasn't that bad, because I found out that no one else was mad at me. The next day, I went over to her and after she gave me a death glare, I asked if we were going to talk or if we were going to keep avoiding each other. At that, she gave me this evil smile and said "I dunno, I'm quite enjoying this game". I was pretty suprised and hurt, so I just said "whenever you're ready", and we both left to class. I spent a lot of that day crying as well. The next day, whe I was at Tech I was sitting there working on something and trying not to cry, Braden came over and asked what was wrong. When I tried to say that it was nothing, he asked if I needed a shoulder to cry on. I nodded, and he came over and gave me a hug, and let my just cry. It helped so much. I apologized later for crying, and he said that it was nothing. I felt pretty good for the rest of the day. But then, I spent the rest of the week either in tears, or almost there. Except for Thursday, when I was so crazily happy that my friend thought I took some happy pill or something.

All that stuff that happened was when I was in school. After school during that week, I was up at the University where my Piano teacher teaches working with the rest of her studio and 4 college students on a monster concert that we were going to be a part of. It was so much fun, and helped me make it through the week. We were basically having 16 people playing the same song, which had 4 parts, and going things to entertain the crowd. When we came on, we were all in different outfits of the characters we decided to be, and pretended we were those people. The characters were just general types of groups: I was with two other people and we were typical teenagers with cell phones, there were 4 people who were pretending to be snobish ballroom dancers, there were 2 cheerleaders, a ballerina, a gymnist, and a kid on a pogostick. It was pretty darn fun, and the crowd was laughing when we came on and went off. Two of the people who were sharing a piano decided to pretend to fight while on the piano (one was a teen, and the other a dancer, so it worked), so they were shoving each other around while playing the entire time. A lot of the people I talked to after were worried that they were going to hurt each other. We went off as our characters as well, and then we were able to watch the rest of the performances put on. They were all pretty funny, and it was a great day. (The recital was Saturday, and we were practicing every day of the week)

But so, thats been my life. I'm still pretty depressed because I haven't had time to talk to my friend. The thing thats really killing me about the whole thing, is that She's my best friend of 7 years, and this is the first time besides about 2 days that we've ever been in a fight like this. I'm still not 100% sure whats got her so mad at me, and she hasn't even looked at me this past week. Its really killing me, and I think that its been affecting my health. Speaking of, I think Braden's getting sick, because he's been coughing all day.

Anyway, I have another piano concert audition thing today, so hopefully it goes well. Wish me luck!

*Hearts everywhere*
So, I just had a wonderful Time today in multimedia. My (jerk) friends today were absolutly hilarious, but lets go from the top.
We had one of those acadamy meetings we do every Monday, and it was about finding work and what to do. Y'know, those 'How to have a good interview and get a job' talks. It was freaking long. There was one part when we were talking about online job applications and what happens when you fill them out, and Mark stood up and made some stupidly hillarious comment about the personality surveys that had everyone in the room laughing for a few minutes. After academy, the continued to make fun of me for liking anime, and Rod would get mad at me for being 'mean' to him. We also talked about my family being feminists, and when Mark heard that my dad was a feminist he stared at me with this weird expression on his face for about a minute. A little while later, Rod asked if I was so mean because I was sick. And Neo came over and stroked my hair/face and pretended to be worried while asking "Yes _____, are you sick?" They all laughed after a while because I guess I looked shocked or something. But yeah, it made me exceedingly happy. He basically Petted Me. Good lady, I'm happy.

Other than that, the weekend seemed incredibly long. I had a piano lesson on friday, because I had a compitition on Saturday. It was my first, so I wasn't suprised when I didn't place at all. It doesn't really bother me, and I wasn't all that nervous, which really counts. I'm also starting to learn Josh Barron's arrangement of Destiny Island for fun, and on my own. Seriously, if any of you know piano and Kingdom Hearts *coughRikuHeartcough*, you should try to learn them. I'm not the biggest fan of his Hikari, but a lot of this other ones are really good. Beware though, there is a plugin that you have to download to hear/print his arrangements. But seriously, I think he's really good at what he does.

Its also my friends Birthday today! Everyone say "Happy Birthday Mon-mon!" That name started as somthing that I just about randomly said, and... well.. it elevated. It makes me laugh, though. So, this is the friend thats almost like a twin to me, we see things so similarly ('cept religion and yaoi/Shonen-ai). Its a lot of fun. My birthday is on thursday, or the 29th. My sister got me my present early, and I am so. freaking. happy. Its the KHII limited edition stragity guide book. I've wanted it ever since KHII came out, but I never was able to get it. So, We're now engaged (Not really....). ^_^

And thats it. I may post on my b-day, but there are no promises. And I posted every Monday in March! That means I get to buy myself something at Barnes and Noble! Huzzah! See ya later!

AGH! I almost didn't.
Update, that is. Its at the end of class, and I was working on flirting, a worksheet, and sending a e-mail to myself with guidelines for a school Yearbook. Well, more like an Acadamy Yearbook. But the point is, if I didn't have to go pick up my brother, I may not have updated. Which would have ment not getting anything at Barnes and Noble *tear*. So. My birthday's next week. And so is my not-really-twin's. Her's is three days before mine (we're really not related, we're just so alike in looks and personality that we pretend to be sisters. It really confused a teacher of ours once). I'm thinking of having a party for my seventeenth birthday, because I didn't have one of those cliche "Sweet Sixteen!!!!11!!11one" birthdays. I'm going to have to have it on my birthday, because I'm leaving the day after to go visit my second cousins for three days and ride their horses. I'm going to be so freaking sore on monday. I'm so excited. They're also expecting one of their horses to have her baby when we're up there, which should be a lot of fun.

My Physics teacher is a freaking hillarious guy. We were talking about one of newtons laws (the 4th, I think), and we were talking about how many stars there are in the galaxy. After the class made a few guesses of how many stars there were, he finally told us that there were about 400 Billion (if I remember correctly). One of the girls in my class asked how he knew that, and without missing a beat, he answered "well, I counted them". For a few minutes after, the class was chuckling. He's said some other things as well, but not to my class. My sister (a real one) had him a few years ago, and he asked the class why they thought that they put the different ends on a battery (y'know, how the + side sticks out, while the - side is flat?), and when they didn't know, he said it was so that blind people could put the batteries into their flashlights. Some people in the class didn't get it, and were all "oh! It makes sense.", while the smart people (like my sis and her crush of the time) just rolled their eyes and laughed. He's a funny guy.

So yeah. Thats all I have to report. I'm probably not going to be able to work on the layout again this week because i have this competition thing coming up for piano this saturday. And... While the piece is almost perfect, its not there yet. We're not sure what the prizes of the compitition are, but our teacher wants us to get in it anyway, for practice playing in frount of people.

Yeah, thats it for me. Ta!

*yawn*
So, I just took an incredibly boring IC3 practice test about "Living Online". Basically, you answer things about the internet. And do simulations like "Make the e-mails in decending order by the person who sent them". Only, probably with better language. But, needless to say, it was incredibly thrilling. I'm just totally fullfilled by that experiance *rolls eyes*.

So, my precious Neo friend is making a backpack for the parachute I made. For the Lizard. For a video. Basically, we're in a group making a 3D short movie, and we're working together ('cept a lot of us are slacking). And my teacher is was right next to me, and didn't get mad. Sweet. She's a cool teacher; she even lets us call her by her first name. There's a DJ at a local radio station who used to be her student. Its freakin awsome. Anyway, our video is... coming. We're using Blender, which is a free 3D graphics progam. Its a bit different and harder too use at first than other things like Maya, but if you know what to do, then its a blast. Our other Team member was kicked out of our cubical because he didn't come till later.

I made a schedual yesterday because I was bored, and I'm going to see how well I stick to it. I did get up on time this morning, I just didn't do what I was supposed to. I have almost no time to do anything remotly fun on Mondays and Wednesdays, but Sunday and Saturday, if I manage my time, I have a lot of time. It should be interesting. Hopefully I'll get the new layout coded and stuff. Its kinda been put on hold for a while, because Life and piano have taken priority #1 and 2.

Ha Ha. Neo just got 'mad' at me (he's joking), so I betster get back to work. ANd there's a other dude spying on me, and another one throwing thigs on me. Ta~!
