Dark times

So apparently I'm on the secnod page of the top artists in the wallpaper section, if you click all the artists and choose Sort by Downloads. I'm in the middle of the second page. =]
I remember a while ago on this site it had your rank among the most-visited pages, and I was in the top ten at one point..and they ahd the top 5/10 artists, and I've been there too.

Now what happened? Most of the wallpapers I see are either stolen or just simply modified by adding a few words to claim it as "yours". This is not the Otaku I grew up with. =/
