part four
Zero reached a small village after two days of travel, he decided to check it out for any sign the young girl was there. He walked through the village asking anyone he met if they had seen the young girl, but nothing. Everyone he talked with said that they knew of no such girl, it would seem his search was in vein. With this he decided to leave the village, before he left happened upon a alley way, it seemed there was some what of a commotion going on. He glanced down to see four guys an a young girl, two of the guys were holding the girl, they were all laughing. “Could it be… is it her?” Zero said softly as he stared at the girl, one of the men in the alley noticed Zero staring. “Hey… this is a private meeting fella.” The man turned toward Zero. “Sorry, I was just looking for…” the man interrupted him “ looking for someone, you’re a bounty hunter? So our gang finally got noticed huh, wonderful.” Then men looked happy, Zero shock his head, then realizing the girl wasn’t the one he turned to leave. “Hold on friend… don’t think you can just leave…” the man unsheathed his sword “you’ve seen too much, you’re a risk to us. Since we’re in a good mood cause of our recognition… we’ll kill you quickly.” They laughed again, Zero shook his head and looked toward the man. “Now stand still an mak…” the man stopped abruptly, the other three guys stared in awe with their mouths dropped. Zero withdrew his fist from the guys gut and let him fall to the ground “that’s….that’s impossible…” one of the men stammered. Zero glared at the other men “just leave now… I’m busy today an I’ll let you all leave.” The three men turned pale, slowly they backed up and then burst into a full out run. The young girl looked to Zero “Thank you… you saved me.” Zero turned around “It just happened to be that saving you was a result of this situation, if he hadn’t been dumb I wouldn’t have done this.” He started to walk away. Upon his leaving of the village he came across more people to question, yet again he was let down, still he got no answers he wanted. Passing through the gates of the village he took a moment to stare out across the way, it was a vast area of field an then more forest. “Well… ain’t that a sight… how far do I have to go?” He took a few more steps an stopped once more. “…your following me… why?” he stood waiting for a reply. “…well, aren’t you gonna answer me?” from outta the shadows came the young girl he saved earlier “I…” “Look, I saved you, just go back home, you have no reason to follow me around.” Zero interrupted, the girl looked at the ground “I have no home, please… may I come with you?” Zero shook his head “I’m far too busy to worry about someone else.” He started walking again “Please… I wont be any trouble.” Zero stopped and turned to look at her “Tell you what… I’ll think about it.” She looked up at him “Well, after thinking about it…no.” he turned and started walking away again “…but…I…” a sound of pleading desperation in her voice. “I know where the girl your looking for is… I can help you find her.” She quickly said, Zero stopped in his tracks, a light breeze picked up and his long dark green hair waved lightly as it passed. “How do you know I’m looking for her?” slowly he turned and faced her once more. “…I over heard you asking people… she is a friend of mine and we are to meet up…at a place.” Zero couldn’t believe it, finally a answer, but was it for sure, he had nothing else to go on. “…Alright, but if you fall behind or get lost or whatever don’t expect me to come looking for ya or anything.” An irritated tone was placed in his voice, but his aqua eyes made him look so tranquil as he spoke, the girl felt at ease staring at him. The two walked off northward, an in the sky the stars shinned brightly once more.
well...who saw that comin lol, i know, i got lame yea, but i hope it's still enjoyable. and yea another nonamed girl, but wait, you'll find out in the next part lol. laters all *hugs*
