I managed to practice the violin for 45 minutes straight! YES!! Usually I can practice for 30 minutes. We're learning sycncopation in Orchestra. It's hard to do with the bow, and I'm a horrible counter. Funny enough, string players are very bad counters, so I'm not the only one. It's hard doing syncopation with the bow. You have to go up down up, or down down up, or up up down, there's a lot of possible combinations.
We're also playing Brandenburg Concerto 4, the third movement in Orchestra. That's my favorite piece of all! But we're also playing the Hoe Down from Rodeo (Rodeo, ro-DAY-o!) and Swan Lake. I like the last movement of Swan Lake though. All I have to play are eighth notes, and I get one quarter rest in between ^_^
Okay, so enough of orchestra. (I'm ranting aren't I?) I got French class tomorrow. The thing with French is that A) I can translate it, B) I can write/type it, and I CAN'T SPEAK A WORD OF IT!!!! Well only a few, like Bonjour, Salut, (both mean hello), comment allez vous? (means how are you?), and Je ne sais pas (means I don't know). Wow, I'm very limited in speaking -_-U
My friend is the exact opposite (except in spanish), she can't write it or translate it, but she can talk! argh, what's going on here?
And I lost my inspiration in art, I can't draw *sob* >_< I can't find anything to inspire me, I can only doodle!!! And my doodles look crummy (well to me, but everybody else says they look good, I completely disagree).
