My Avatar

Hi! Welcome to the crazy, ranting, boring, anime, messy,
artsy life of me. Don't really know if any of those words
apply to me but oh well! I guess I've got an online journal
now(who'd a thought I'd actually get one and use it?) Well,
at least I have a place I can legally rant at when I'm bored!
Enjoy! ^-^

................Ugh, I can't think of one.

Current Mood:
Estranged. Ok, I just felt like using that word. Maybe. Think I'm actually bored. Or I just don't have a mood right now.
Feeling:Tired
Listening To:"The Best Of Me" by The Starting Line. And anything good that pops up on Launch.
Watching:Nothing but the words going into the computer screne. Well, they don't really go into as much as pop up and oh well...
Thinking:
i love their voices in this song.
Also thinking:What am I gonna type next?
Big Thought of the Moment:..........Nothing is currently coming to mind....
Anime Thought:I haven't watched much of this at all. In a long time. Very long.
Post of Anime:Anime has started becoming foreign to me. Oh! Just a thought, but since I have a TV in my room again(with a nice DVD/VCR player!:D), I could go in there and watch some on Saturdays. Maybe. I've become a computer addict. Mainly to writing boards. The other part is for listening to music.
Post of MusicI copied this whole post format from my Halloween post from last year. Two Halloweens ago. It's been a while....Anyway, point of me telling you that is just because I was speculating on the title things of these catagory thingies in my post. Yeah, that made plenty sense, didn't it?:P :D
Life Post:Yeah, I haven't been on here in forever. And I only came back to get the code for tables for an online friend who looked like she could use tables on her site. You must feel so loved right now. Hey, I told you in my first post I don't like blogs. Or diaries/journals. Every diary I've started has turned either into a story or not used at all. Anyway, speaking of blogs, one of the three writing sites I'm on is going to get one. Imagine my joy. Grrr. That particular site is growing way too fast. And the creator has to change things at least once a week. When it was just a little baby two monthes ago, it had this great noteboard look that I loved. I never changed to any of the other styles offered except three or four times for just a few minutes. Now he's gotten rid of all of those styles and given it a normal board look as part of his "actual site" change. You can either change it from white on white with border colors of your choice to dark gray on dark gray with border colors of your choice. I don't really like the look. It's not as stand-outish and original looking. And the site's running slow now.:P

Anyway, yeah, I'm on three writing sites now. Two are fantasy-oriented, the other that I told you all about an all-types site. I've gotten some ideas for my story on the two fantasy sites. I haven't written on that in a while. Actually, I wrote a little in Biology because I had just put more paper into that subject's binder and just looked at a blank page and got this urge to write, these words coming to my mind. So I wrote. Very little, but at least it's something. I really want to write a part where I can go deep into my characters. Don't really know where. This leads my thoughts to world building and this little debate I'm now having on one of the sites I'm on. It's about creating a world with a detailed history and languages and stuff. I'm on the side that doesn't think you have to go so deep into that to make your story sound deep, and I was the first to mention characters and going deep into characters. Ok, I don't want to bother you with any more details on that. At least not for another post. Which makes it sound like I'm coming back sometime soon. Don't know. Maybe, maybe not. Who knows....I just remembered I haven't said anything about Buffy and Angel in this post. Oh well, it's probably long enough without them.

See ya!

   New Shows

Hi again. I just keep going every where, don't I? Well, school started yesterday. Got all the classes I wanted, and most of my friends(how few they be) are in my lunch. Only problem is we've already been assigned things. Mainly auto-biographies or something like it. The life of a sophmore....

I had a bit of a lazy summer. Went to Gulf Shores in Alabama for a week and got two hermit crabs! Ones already died from something. Speaking of death, my cat I've had since before I was born died. :( He was old, though. 18 years old. Pretty long and eventful life.

The biggest thing to happen to me is that I am officially a fan of the Buffyverse! A few weeks into the summer I found out that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was on FX. I searched for it, too. A friend of mine got hooked on it last year and showed me the first three episodes one day and I suddenly had a craving for the show. I was already interested in the show because I heard the friend talking with another friend about the show and Angel and she also had shown me the Lover's Walk episode. I was so glad to find out when and where the show was airing on weekdays. And it was just starting the second season, meaning I wouldn't be too lost about everything. Then one day in July I was flipping through the channels(barely watching anything for even a second) and came across two familiar-looking people run onto a subway and a guy with a Buffy-Vamp face on. The two familiar faces were Angel and Cordilia and I was watching the last ten minutes of the first episode of the third season of Angel. That made me a happy girl, since the third season is when Connor comes in. And reportedly from my friend he was supposed to be CUTE! We formally met 17-year-old Connor today. And he is CUTE! Vincent Kartheiser is the guy that plays him. I'm really enjoying how much Buffyverse I'm getting. Every weekday morning at 6 is Buffy, then every weekday afternoon(usually) at 4, which is an hour after school, is Angel. And at night on weekends both are on, and on the same station. I'm probably boring people with non-anime talk, though. But first I've just gotta sing the begining of one of my favorite(or at least more memorable) songs from the musical episode;

GILES:
I've got a theory
That it's a demon
A dancing demon!
No, something isn't right there.
WILLOW:
I've got a theory
Some kid is dreamin'
And we're all stuck inside his wacky Broadway nightmare.
XANDER:
I've got a theory we should work this out.
ANYA/TARA/WILLOW/XANDER:
It's getting eerie, what's this cheery singing all about?
XANDER:
It could be witches!
Some evil witches!
Which is ridiculous, 'cause witches they were persecuted,
Wicca good and love the earth and woman power
and I'll be over here.
ANYA: I've got a theory! It could be bunnies!
TARA: I've got a-
ANYA: (shrieking a la Alanis Morissette)
Bunnies aren't just cute like everybody supposes!
They've got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses!
And what's with all the carrots?
What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?
[playing air guitar]
Bunnies!
Bunnies!
It must be bunnies!
ANYA: (back to original melody)
Or maybe midgets.
WILLOW:
I've got a theory we should work this fast.
WILLOW/GILES:
Because it clearly could get serious before it's passed.

BTW, Anya's afraid of bunnies and Willow and Tara are witches.

Oh, and do you know how hard it is to find a good Angel background you don't have to download using a search engine? I get all this other stuff, and the Angel pictures never have Connor in them! Maybe that's because the fourth season box set isn't out yet. I bought that, btw. Only box set/whole season of a show I'll have on anything(although I've taped nearly every Inu-yasha first season episode, and I haven't and wont tape over them, I've still got anime needs in me! :))

   An Anime Comeback?

I just might get the anime I need after all....

With the start of Cartoon Network's 'Meguzi' program-thingy, I have found that Teen Titans comes on at a time I can remember(infact, it's on right now!"When there's trouble, you know who to call! TEEN TITANS!":D)! It probably would have taken me longer if I didn't go check Cartoon Network's schedule guide.XD! And, while I was looking, I remembered that I saw that Adult Swim(it showed some Animatrix, didn't it?) was back on Saturdays and decided to check it out. Well, soon I found that my beloved Yu Yu Hakusho and Inu-Yasha were on T.V. at watchable times(for me)! And I also found that my sure-to-be beloved Wolf's Rain is going to be on right after InuYasha! I've known about that show since it ended it's first run in Japan last year(I think, it was at least June)! I LOVE wolves! And I LOVE anime! And Wolf's Rain is a combonation of both!! WEEEEE!!!! I can't wait! I hopefully can stay up until 11:00, even though I have Sunday school the day after. This Sunday I think we're supposed to be going to the Catholic church that my grandmother goes to. I don't want to go, because their service is during my church's Sunday School. I love our Sunday school class. We do fun stuff, like little plays, madlib, games, and other stuff. I also haven't missed a day since the day after it snowed here in February(Mom's fault)! I don't want to miss anything! Oh yeah, I also want to know when my crush(he goes to my church gets something back(if it comes up). *sigh*

   Return Of The Angel

If this doesn't get your attention that I'm alive...
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!

Yes! I have returned(for how long, who knows?)
I'm sorry to have neglected my obligations to this site. I've been busy with school, mostly. *is struck by lightning*
OK! Ok! I've also been reading things, doing things, playing things, trying to keep my grades up, and been grounded, amoung other, currently non-rememberable things. What was the main reason I fell into brief obscurity? Probably because I fell back in love with my Age of Empire II games. Although it all truely started with the reruning and bad time-slotting(for me) of anime shows. Other things probably happened, too....
So, care to know what's happened while I've been gone? I'll try to see if I can catch myself up on things here and elsewhere....

(I'll try to shorten this as much as posible)
Well, let's start with the day before Thanksgiving. For a few weeks, my best friend had been bugging me to write a story again(she was writing one, and we've been writing/drawing stories/mangas either together or at the same time for a year plus, never finishing anything but one story of hers). And so, after a dream I had(which I'll tell at request), I began forming a plot. Just from this short part in a dream that, when typed, would probably be only a little more than a paragraph. I decided to finally write it down. Within a week, I was done with the first chapter! Wish I could say the same about the second, though....

And now, Christmas and the week after! I had run out of things to read(my last book having been, I think, Wicked; the Life of the Wicked Witch of the West[I didn't know much about the content when I started reading, though]), so I recieved In the Forests of Serre from Santa, and Eragon from my dad. Then, the first Monday after Christmas, I had my fifteenth birthday! The day before, I got to see LotR; Return of the King as my B-Day movie! Loved it(as I did the others)!
My new books didn't last long. I started In the Forests of Serre nearly as soon as school started back up, and finished it in two days. I started Eragon barely a week later, and finished it in a week(which is my goal for finishing books). So, boredness!

I read a book on medieval castles one week in February, and started on one on medieval villages, too. I was probably also grounded somepoint in there. During the last week of March, which was our Spring Break, I reread Ella Enchanted. Good book there.

And now, for April! Well, I was out of fantasy books, so I looked for some at the Barnes and Nobles website. What did I find? The first book this school year that's taken me two weeks to finish; The Outstretched Shadow, the first book in the Obsidian trilogy. Now if that's not at least good reading, then this world's more warped than I thought! I loved this book! Kellen, the main guy, didn't seem like the ordinary hero. Near the end, I believed what the second to last chapter said had happened had happened(this is a spoiler-proofed sentence)! I was half wanting to not make my one-week deadline! I almost made the extended two-week one, though, but I stayed up until 11:00 last night reading, and decided the begining of the last chapter was a good place to start off, so I finished it today, two weeks and one day after starting it. The next book in the trilogy will definately be an exception to my one-week policy(hehe,:) I have my own policy! I'm such a geek/half-nerd!)

And what about anime? Well, the only anime I've seen of late has been some episodes of Teen Titans and when I watched some Fruit Basket episodes. My current anime life is sad....

INUYASHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm currently in my IED class. I'm waiting to print out my project. So, during this free time, I'm on the internet. I've decided to change my background on my account on this computer(here at school). What'd I search for? Inuyasha! It's been SOOOOOOOOOOO long since I've seen a picture of InuYasha!(Is it three monthes or four?) *sigh* I'm so happy and feeling SO at home looking at pictures that I feel that I could cry. Really! I can feel them forming. I better go before I do. *sniff* So happy. Just so happy......
