G'day

generated by sloganizer.net

I've had a really good day today, far in contrast from my fucked-up day yesterday. School went well and I'm in a great mood! It probably rubbed off from yesterday, where towards the wend of the day, I was happy as ever! ^ ^ Banana even skipped band to help me with my li'l crisis. O_O He's so nice... *hugs* I loooooove you Nick.

Finally got both of my programs in computer science working!! >< The one that was supposed to be extremely easy was frustrating me beyond all reason, but I looked at the program again and found that I spelled the command button's name wrong @___@ I hate typos...
I'll probably hold off on turning in the second one as long as I can... there are still a few things that I'd like to fix. The major thing that I was having trouble with though I was able to get done with!!! I'll tell yous what it was. Whenever you click on a checkbox in the program, it shows up on a textbox as a part of the code. When you unclick it, though, it would just show up on the text record again... although the textbox is unaffiliated with finding the total price of all of the checkboxes, so when you click "Total Price" it would display the correct amount, but you don't know what I'ma workin' on, so I won't confuse you with that.
Since there's no 'chk_unclick' option, I had to come up with a little code on my own. It goes something like this.
If chkB.value = 1 Then txtrecord.text = chkB.caption & " $10" & vbNewLine & txtrecord.text Else txtrecord = " "
Sorry again if this is confusin' a bit, it's not really anything that complicated if you read over it and look at the names again.
After that I'm gonna have to make a lot of declarations on my code, which are just comments that you make that tell what each control does.
Then I's gotta check all of the control properties, make sure everything's named correctly and efficiently, stuff like that.
Aaaand then, some debugging... and lastly, I have to make it visually appealing ^ ^ can't have it looking like crap you know.

You should really try a computer science coarse in school if you haven't already. My teacher also says it's a really good projected field if you go into it because there's a high demand for programmers and a low supply, and you know what that means. Yep, cha-ching. I'm considering it, but I really also want to work with hardwear; that's why I like computer engineering, it's the best of both worlds! But if you're a lazy bum and you still don't know what you want to do *nudge* you should consider it *cough* Nick. Hehe, then you could buy me ma cow!!

>____> Hmmm... Biology quiz was alright, then we did a lab with pH and acidity and stuff. Jeesh, I got this reeeeeeeeeeally whiney kid as my partner. I've never met someone so whiney before in my life. So annoying. Couldn't keep his mouth shut.
SAMPLE:

WK (Whiney kid): Do you watch Lost?
Ari: No.
WK: Hmmm... the OC?
Ari: No.
WK: The apprentice??
Ari: No.
WK: E-ring??
Ari: No.
[more questioning]
WK: Jeesh, you miss out on all of the good things in life.
Ari:... >__>
Ari's Mind: Loser, I have something you don't have. I have something a most people had, and it's very good, better than a TV show.

Ooo, and he said that last year he moved from Tennessee too. Hahahahahahaha, Tennessee, land of the whiney people.

O___O I got a C+ on my world history test TT_____TT I'm so stupid... that brought me down from an A+ to a B+... *le sigh*

Band... gonna be gone from 4:40 - 10:30ish >.o I'ma make sure I finish all of my homework right now... Band isn't that bad though... or so it feels right now. As long as I have my Nick I'll be okay. ^ ^ Gettin' to talk to him after band makes me feel that much better too, just because I was deprived of it for a few hours.

Anyway... that's purdy much all I got. Take care everyone!

I LOVE YOU NICK!!!

... how should I know?
