Rant against jerks
People can be such jerks. I mean, so what if my mom is white and my dad is black and that means their marriage is interracial and that means my brother and I are mixed? Seriously, I was in a good mood, planning on writing an interesting post, when I ran into some jerks who had to make some comments about my looks. Or rather the fcolr of my skin. I'd call them by their real names but I want to keep my posts PG.
I used to be able to ignore such remarks. When I was younger we lived in a small town that didn't have much diversity ethnic wise. A small town with one grocery store, one K-mart, a few fast food places, lots of rural areas, and antique stores. Then we moved to a big city and got a culture shock. A mall within a short distance, tons of choice restuarants, traffic everywhere, and a huge diversity of white, black, hispanic, and asian. And a whole lot more tolerance.
I should stop ranting. I don't have it nearly as bad as other people. I just hate all this prejudice again't race, religion, politics, beliefs, etc.
