*Zombie Groan*
And, please, don't bother with the shotgun...
Well, occasional obsessive compulsive that I am, I brilliantly decided to stay up all night photoshopping a drawing I wanted to submit sooo... I'm dead. I'm a zombie. And this zombie is disappearing until a cure is invented. Meaning I won't be able to comment on y'all's post for an undetermined period of time. Sorry.
Okay, I'm off to a nap now. Y'all be good while I'm gone.

*Plays French National Anthem*
But this is America.... *record scratches and the frenchman curses*
I registered to vote today. Just vote-- I'm not with any particular party, nor do I have any idea who I'm actually gonna vote for. They all seem so... so... crappy. Like some sorta over advertised, cheap, rip-off product. I can tell you this, though-- it's not gonna be Hilary. She scares the s**t outta me.
Anywho, registration for this year's election ends on the fourth of this month, so if any of y'all are gonna turn eighteen before early november, hurry up!
*skips cheesy motivational speech about making a difference cuz they're boring and cliche and don't actually motivate anyone*
Well, like with Ink's profile, it appears that last post garnered a record amount of comments. Maybe we should do something to celebrate? So I gotta shoutout to the two new people here-- Allamorph and Ae- ! Welcome guys! I hope you enjoy it here and keep returning!
And so, I'll end with a question inspired buy a slight disagreement from yesterday's comments: What's your favorite pizza place?
Later, Taters!

But I can't hear cuz I'm asleep. (And it's not sunday.)
That's right. This morning I woke up feeling crappy again. I figure the flu is giving it one last shot before it disappears entirely. So I promptly went back to sleep and didn't wake up until hours later-- say about four in the afternoon. I'm sensing I'm going to have trouble getting back to sleep again tonight.
-------------------------------------------------
Soooo... not much else happened today. I played Guitar Hero III and mom found this really neat storm chaser site. Pizza for dinner-- it tasted absolutely disgusting. I'm not too fond of Pizza Hut anymore.
Responses:
ink.black.sky~ Yay! Another Ultimate fan! Never thought that'd happen. And your class sounds silly. XP
Allamorph~ Trust me, I don't mind poking. It's just... I couldn't come up with a good comeback. *sweatdrop*
*pokes Alla and runs*

Well, then....
Later, Taters!

Thank you so much, everybody!
I'd be in that corner if it weren't for y'all.
Thanks for sticking with me there guys. I'm out of it now. I think it was mainly residue from some really old childhood issues. I didn't make friends to easy when I was little and the fear of that has sorta stuck with me. Y'all's comments really meant a lot to me because of that-- they were proof that I have friends. And real goods ones at that. So, once again, thanks.
Well now that it's over, it's time for the emo side of me to go back to wherever it came from. Wave goodbye, everybody!
*waves vigorously*
Shall we get this all back to normal, then?
Okeedoke. Well, wednesdays are busy days as I'm out of the house from ten-thirty until at least four. During that time I'm in astronomy (which is utterly and totally confusing, which is in turn frustrating) and then writer's club. By the way, I say at least four because there's the option of going to the park and playing Ultimate Frisbee. I didn't do that today though-- not enough sleep last night. I came home and took a nap instead.
But enough with the boring stuff. The real highlight today was Guitar Hero III. Rock on! We just went to get a copy a few hours ago. Man, I can't wait to play that thing (Dan's got it dominated a the moment). There is absolutely nothing more addictive. Except maybe anime. XP Have any of y'all ever played it? If you have, you probably know what I mean about the addiction. Tis' an air-guitarist's dream, that game is.
Well once again, thanks everybody. I'm glad y'all are my friends.
Until next post (which should be tomarrow)--
Later, Taters!

Unconditional Terror
Beware what lurks in the dark....
Okay. So anyone who's known me on here for a while will notice that I've been posting an awful lot lately (and if you haven't/aren't, that's okay too). Normally, you'd get a new post say every couple months or so. But for the past few days I've been off the bat with how much I've been typing here.
This is because I got excited. Last week's podcast is the most fun I've had on here in a long while, plus I made a new friend: Ink. Understandably I was emmensley happy and wanted to keep that feeling going. Thus me posting, interacting and, in general, being on here more often.
Now here's where this get's tricky. This isn't the first time this type of scenario has happened. But everytime, in the end I become terrified and quit. I don't know why I get so scared, or what exactly it is I'm terrified of, just that anything and everything that doesn't have to do with curling up in a corner for the rest of my life scares the living daylights out of me.
But I don't want this to end yet, no matter how terrified I am.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say, in all that junk up there, is... help. Just help. There, I said it. I'm terrified and I'm asking for help. Please.
Help.

HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
Whoa! Calm down there, girl. You're freakin' me out....
... Nope. Sorry. Still can't calm down. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
o__O;
Fine! I'll try to contain it. *grumble, grumble, grumble*
Why was I so happy in the first place? Well there's a lot of reasons, but let's start with the biggest-- maybe then I'll calm down and finally go to sleep.
First: people commented on my artwork! I'm gonna have to upload another. I'm glad y'all liked it so much. The stats, at current time of typing, are 33 views, 2 votes, 3 comments, and 2 favorites. I couldn't have asked for a better debut reception. Thanks guys. I don't think there's gonna be a colored version, though-- I'm not very good at that. Sorry, Timechaser.
Second: This SuperBowl sunday, on SciFi, there's going to be an all day marathon of Star Trek: Enterprise! Sqweeee- *smack!* Ow... right, right. No fangirly stuff. Sorry. It's gotta be all this extra energy. Anywho, for those of you who don't know, Enterprise is the latest addition into the Star Trek franchise. Unfortunately, it's actually ended it's run, but every monday evening SciFi has a four hour block of its reruns. That's where I found it and got addicted. I'm not sure how I'm going to keep up with all they show on sunday, though-- I'm not a big fan off sitting still for large periods of time.
And finally, I'm happy because I get to go back to the gym tomarrow. After a week of dealing with sick people and only going on the occasional walk in the backyard with the dog for exercise, it's going to be nice to have a full workout. Adam, my trainer, is probably gonna bust my butt though, since I've been gone so long. Meh, oh well.
*stretches* Mmmm. I think I've calmed down enough to finally go to bed. I'll see y'all later then.
Responses:
Luna: Not a tater, eh? Nor a tot?! Gosh and golly, Luna-- what are you then? I only ever thought people were taters or tots.... *sits dazedly in a corner as the world as I know it comes crashing down around me* Tater... Tot... Tater... Oh, I know! You're the fabled Chips! All nice and golden and crispy... ^_^
And I think I'd be an orange cream pop, with a really really dark (we're talkin' no less than 85%) chocolate nugget in the center.
Questions:
1. Sorry for stealing, Luna, but what type of popsicle do y'all think you'd be?
2. What do you think of the song in the video? (I don't care much about the images myself, really)
3. Questions that need answering? Questions that don't need answering? Questions that you're not quite sure that you want to know the answer to? All are accepted here!
Well, until I think of a better catch phrase...
Believe it!

Let's All Play The Waiting Game!
What're we waiting for?
*holds up fingers In dramatic, Ouran fashion* There are three things that are the object of this waiting game!
One: I can't remember what this was gonna be. So for now, we're waiting for me to remember.
Two: I finally submitted something! It'll be in the fanart section if it gets through, so keep an eye out for it. It's a basic drawing I did in about five hours (two if you don't include the clean-up on photoshop) last night.
Which segways nicely into...
Three: Due to the five hours I spent on the picture last night, I got only four hours of sleep. Huh, the picture got more time than I did-- how 'bout that? So we're either waiting for me to drop dead, or cave in and drink my first cup of real coffee in months.
*drinks from mug mum just handed over*
Oh... Well that last one didn't take long, did it? *shrugs and drinks more coffee* Well hopefully this'll actually help.
I'll see if I can update this a little more later-- the day's not over yet.
---------------------------------------
Yes! That's the drawing up! What're you waiting for? Go look at it! Go! Tell me it's a masterpiece or a piece of crap or whatever! Just pleeeeeeeeease go look at it!
So that's two out of three objects. I don't think I'm ever gonna remember what the first one was. Sorry.
And finally, one of my friends is having his birthday party tonight, so I won't be on. I'll see y'all tomarrow then!
Later, Taters!

Holy Drivel, Batman! She's Posted Two Days In A Row!
The nerve of her!
Anywho, today was robotics day. There's a competition coming up in April and a homeschool friend of mind decided to put together a team. Unfortunately, I'm sorta lacking in mechanical knowledge, so I only tend to discuss the ideas and take the official notes-- kinda like a scribe.
Currently we're working out some of the kinks in the prototype claw designs. In the competition, the robots have to be able to rescue (pick up) workers (tin foil wrapped tennis balls) and bring them back to the indicated safe zones. Thus, the claw. One of them is actually starting to look like a robot finally.
Everyone in the house is starting to feel better finally. Mom's got her sense of humor back, which is a good sign. She even managed to drive me around a bit today. (Yeah I know-- how the heck can I be eighteen and not have a liscence?)
Finally witnessed a bluray disc in action today. After the robotics meeting, mom and I went to drop off some videos at Blockbuster. Inside they were using the player in a PS3 to show F4: Silver Surfer on a Sony HD set. It was freakin' gorgeous! I want to stay and watch but we had to get home to take care of the dog.
Dad just brought dinner home, so I gots to go.

Welcome to the House of Illness
Aww. No one commented on my PS3 rant. Well that's OK-- wasn't one of my better rants anyhow.
Well, as the title above says, welcome! For the past week and a half everyone in this house has been getting sick. I get the reward for last man standing-- it didn't catch up to me until three or four days ago, depending on how you want to count it. Daniel was the first to catch it, probably from school. Then he gave it to dad and Evan simultaniously, then mom caught it shortly afterwards. She's got it the worst-- fever and headaches for a week and still counting. All of us cough a lot. My throat's so sore from it that I avoid talking as much as possible it hurts so much. At least no one's had to throw up.
As you've probably noticed, there's now a video where my paraphanelia used to be. I thought it might be nice to change things around a little bit. The song is from a game called Portal, only found in the Orange Box game pack. It's a puzzle game where the player is trapped in this creepily cheery and sterile facility as a guinea pig-- albeit one with a gun that creates linked portals. Throughout the game you are monitored and instructed by and autonomous voice named Gladys (the voice in the video), who keeps promising, like there's no higher reward, that if you make it through alive, you will be granted cake. This song is basically the end credits, which you unlock after you've beaten Gladys and gotten your much deserved cake. Please comment on wether you like it or not!
That's all I can really think of for now. Maybe more later.
Later, Taters!

It's Not The Red Ring, It's The Little Black Box....
....OF DEATH!!
After weeks of waiting, we finally got our Xbox360 back and, after discovering that Live has taken a turn for the worse and having trouble retrieving our gamertags, is now working fairly smoothly. Our other main console, the PS3, however, is still acting fairly objectionably. We got it on the assumption that it would have playback capability, meaning able to play games from previous PS consoles. Well, apparently not.
The day after Christmas, Dan and I went out to get my laptop repaired and ended up buying a couple PS2 games as we figured we'd want to play more than Just Ratchet and Clank on it eventually. Well, we got home and tried both of them out to no avail. The PS3 wouldn't read the discs. Confused, we did a bit of research and found out that one particular model, the 40gb, didn't have the hardware necessary for playback, but the 20gb, the 60gb and the 80gb versions did. So we returned the 40gb and got the first capable one we could find, which happened to be an 80gb as the 60 and 20 are going out of production for some reason. It was actually cheaper than the 40gb deal was.
So, after setting it up and downloading an emulator, we got going with our new games. That sounds good right? Well that's cuz the tale's not over yet. Sorry.
You see, after watching a few videos on YouTube (and perhaps listening to Sangome a little too much) Daniel and I found ourselves interested in a small time rpg called "Tales of the Abyss". Now armed with a Sony console, we figured we'd go get a copy. It took a while to find a decently priced disc, but it was worth it. That game is insanely fun. Until you get to Choral Castle. Then it freezes and you can't get nowhere. After doing everything possible to clean and repair the disc, even asking for Sangome and Timber's advice, we decided there was a fundamental problem with the data encoding and needed to aquire a new copy to continue playing. We sold the old disc to a Gamestop and bought a brand new, still in it's packaging copy off of Amazon. The second it arrived, we rushed it upstairs, pushed it in it's slot, ran past all the bandit's along the way, and into Choral Castle.
Where it promptly froze. Again. The chances of a unheard of before glitch being on both the copies that we managed to obtain are abysmally high and thus we came to the conclusion... that the PS3 is a piece of crap. Stick with your PS2's people. You're not missing a thing. Except maybe a ton of frustration.
Hopefully reporting better news next time, this is 2short, signing out.
And, oh yeah- Welcome Back Luna-chan!!!
Later, Taters!
