Why Pop Totally Sucks and Rock Kicks Butt
Many people know my views on pop. I make no effort to keep them secret, and for good reason. For those of you who don't know me, i truly hate pop. I find it boring, cheesy, and totally gay. But then again, that's just me. I know plenty of you out there like pop and are saying "hey, what the freak does th is girl think she's talking about??" Well, for those of you who absolutely ADORE pop music, i'm going to give you 10 good, valid, factual reasons why pop stinks.
Reason 1: Pop is too happy. Some of us out here need some good heavy music to listen to.
Reason 2: Uh, I'm sorry, but has ANYONE here seen a pop star actually play music? There's your next reason. They DON'T.
Reason 3: They're all sissies. Face it.
Reason 4: What's up with all this coreagraphed crap in their videos? All they do is sing and then get a group of people to dance with them. hello??? we're here for the music!!
Reason 5: And speaking of music, all they sing about is "oh no, my girlfriend left me AGAIN! I'm sooo sad." Oh, cry me a river. Sing a bout something we care about.
Reason 6: Trent Reznor doesn't like pop. If he doesn't, why should you?
Reason 7: Going back to the music videos, why are they all the same? you'd think they would have creative videos to make up for their terrible music.
Reason 8: If any new artist comes on the scene, notice that he/she starts with pop as his/her new career. why? because it's easy to cheesy.
Reason 9: Has any one EVER headbanged to a pop song? enough said.
Reason 10: Lastly, rock music is just SO much more fun to be around. example: which is more fun: a mosh pit, or learning all the complicated dance movements to a whiny Backstreet Boys song?
