Life after midterms (it exists!)
I dropped my most stressful class this week, and I can't tell you what a big difference that has made for me. As I told a friend last night: "I feel like a person again, instead of a nervous wreck." Life is good.
I've started sketching more again (now that I have waking hours that are not entirely devoted to homework), and that's very relaxing for me. Toying with a couple of comics ideas, but I don't know if I have the skill/determination to finish either of them.
Of course, that never keeps me from starting, does it? Le sigh. =p
Perhaps I'll make my way to a scanner and post some art today.
In other news, I watched Cidade de Deus last night with some friends. It's pretty high (No. 18) in the IMDB top 250. It's a good movie, but very sad.
It makes me want to try and heal the world. |
